Aight, next year. Beetlejuice scare zone at Hollywood.
Soul Train in the middle blowing steam, some immigration stages around, Undead people dancing (they got tons of material to work with), Shrunken Head guys, The Deetz Family and Beetlejuice stage like his facade in 2021.
Gimme!

While the storyline is quite abysmal, the concept can work if done properly. The setup is quite minimal, so a nightly transition into this (or something similar) is more than doable.

Halloween Horror Nights XLIII
Triplets of Terror: Welcome to Shadybrook (Soundstage 23A/Monstruos)

A sequel to both Triplets and Home for the Holidays. For their 59th birthday, March 3rd of 2034, the Barmy triplets make their way to the town of Shadybrook, infamous for its shuttered asylum and murders. Doing what they do best, the triplets break into homes around the neighborhood, killing families and collecting them as 'guests' for their birthday party.

About halfway through the house, we enter the sewers and hear the police sirens above us, making us think the house might already be over as this is how the original ends... but it keeps going. The rooms get darker and more disgusting as the scare intensity ups itself, and we eventually rise out of the sewers to find ourselves in a disturbing sight: The birthday bash set up in the dilapidated and extremely bloodied lobby of Shadybrook Asylum as the grand finale.

Two more house ideas.

Terror Unearthed: A Boris Shuster Story
LOCATION:
Soundstage 24A (Insidious: The Further)
SYNOPSIS:
Before Boris Shuster became involved with the paranormal, he was your every-day private investigator, more often than not dealing with cheating scandals. Things would change, however, when an anonymous tip leads him to a grisly murder. No evidence was to be found, except for a single letter left directly for Boris, a message + cipher to be cracked, threatening to kill his brother if the murders can't be stopped. Join Boris down this rabbit hole of crime for his first big case, a dangerous game where the stakes are your lives.

Scary Tales: Cursed Childhoods
LOCATION:
Soundstage 24B (Triplets of Terror)
SYNOPSIS:
Neverland is a magical realm we've all wished to travel to at one point in our lives. After tonight though, you'll wish you had never even heard of it. Peter Pan and Tinker Bell's pain of seeing children grow into adults and forget their time spent in Neverland has reached a breaking point, and now all will pay the price. You'll witness families torn apart in bloody, twisted nightmares as the Boy Who Never Grew Up takes his revenge.

Killer Frequency would be a fun dark comedy house. Facade would be the radio station and the first scene would be a live Forrest Nash you could interact with, then the rest of the house takes you into the scenarios you hear the callers go through (being chased through a hedge maze by a chainsaw-wielding maniac, the fire, Whistling Point, etc.).

Go ahead and add Thanksgiving and Totally Killer onto my wishlist. Of the two I think Totally Killer would work better as a house right now, but that could change when Thanksgiving 2 releases.

So long as we're veering into non-horror, might as well...

Hundreds.

Of.

Beavers.

(Or at least an original ripoff.)

I'd still classify Totally Killer and Thanksgiving as horror though? They're both pretty brutal slashers.

Unless you just meant in general if we veer into non-horror.

silent Hill scarezone. would fit perfectly in hhn. with pyramid head in a stage. and nurses on stages. have the siren blasting.
(resident evil already gets a show and scarezone in Japan. we could get a big silent hill zone for Orlando)
have projections on the walls of the decaying happening.
I honestly can't believe they never did this.

universal already has the costumes and props from the house, the streets with fog would look exactly like the game. most of the games is outdoors. it's literally perfect

I assure you, they do not have the costumes and props still after 10+ years.

Would love for them to revisit the building projections from the acid assault scarezone from 2011 or 2012. I can only imagine how much better something like that would look with modern day tech.

And while I’m on the topic of things i’d like them to revisit, the evolving costumes/music from the 7 scarezone made it such a cool experience.

I was generally joking, although the climax borderline felt like comedy house material.

They also did the crumbling buildings in 2016.

But yes, another zone like 7 would be really cool! Actually a 7 house would be great.

I guess I meant they already have the style or the idea on how to make them. ( they already made them so we know how it would look like)

do they throw everything away?

Eventually, yes. Most costumes are only serviceable for 5-7 years (on the long side). Anything actual clothes that are costumes (shirts/pants/some jackets) get washed nightly so they wear out quickly. Jackets and dresses are dry-cleaned weakly, so again, they wear out. A lot of that stuff will also get distressed (shredded/bloodied up) as it gets older, knowing it’s reaching the end of its lifespan.

Unique, trademark costumes (IP stuff, like the Silent Hill nurse masks or Predators) are predominantly destroyed after the run (though they sometimes keep one or two for historical purposes). Partially because storing them is a massive pain, but because they may not authorized to keep them if they don’t own the IP.

I would like to see Silent Hill at the event - I never did the house when it was here. I'm not sure if it would be better or as a house or zone, because I think both could work really well.

I think there's video of it on YouTube,
the house felt mostly based on the movie and had a bunch of guys on gas masks, (some scenes were directly from the movie ) pyramid head was on stilts and looked like the movie version,
I liked it but I feel like silent hill would fit much better for a street zone, specially with fog and wall projections which the house couldn't really have as well,

After seeing Heart Eyes, it feels much more made for a house than Thanksgiving. Every set piece and chase with HEK would translate very well into house scenes.

Just had a cool idea. Not sure if anyone else said this yet but I been thinking about the Vamp zones and thought of a cool idea. What about Vamp 91 Fright Night. Have it set at the first ever HHN (Fright Night). Put it in New York like Vamp 85 and 69. Have old HHN props and even have the return of the rat lady. What you all think?

Technically, I thought of a 90’s Vamp zone in 99 with a Y2K Hysteria, only because I wanna see them represent the music genres during the decade and even the early 2000’s like Grunge and Nu-Metal. But I know one YouTube channel with one of the YouTubers who wants the “First HHN” theme with vampires idea.
