This is a good question if they in fact did it delicately. HTF, do you know if this was a sledge hammer removal or a very careful and methodical removal. And pray tell if you know, where are they being stored? On site in a soundstage or off site in a warehouse or worse, off site in a landfill.

Has anyone else noticed the terrible shape that Tiff has been in for the past few weeks? A few weeks ago, her skin was hanging off her, and Saturday her jaw was frozen in the open/roaring position. She is supposed to be the crowning moment of this ride, the part everything has been building up to and it upsets me to see her in such a poor state. If down time is needed to repair her then by all means, close the ride and fix her!

We were there weekend before last and the boat stopped at the hill right before going over the crest. Got to see her cycle for a few minutes. I had never noticed she has a little T-Rex arm before.

Everytime I've ridden her jaw hasn't moved.

^ LOL, I read his post earlier and was trying to remember how the jaw moved but I was having great difficulty recalling it precisely. I believe the reason for this is because you are absolutely correct.

As always, thanks for the info and cool to hear things are moving along! I still don't understand what is happening in Jurassic Park anymore though, haha.

Hopefully the Triceratops can be re-purposed and used in a future attraction.

I almost find it weird that Kong is getting a big ride that may cut into JP space when Universal is trying to reboot the Jurassic Park franchise. Watch a new Kong movie get announced, haha.

^ Yeah, if that were to happen Universal Orlando would lose a lot of my respect, as you simply cannot theme a spinner or other off-the-shelf flat ride enough to avoid ruining the truly epic atmosphere created by Universal Creative when they built this particular island.

Said epic atmosphere has slowly withered away anyhow with the addition of FJ smack dab in the middle of the land and then the games.
