The over-the-cliff scene in the second film is very much worth watching. It will have you twisting in your seat. The rest of it is so Goldblum heavy and leaves me cold.

Besides the fact that IT CAN'T BE POSSIBLE!!!!! Take a look, how lucky are they?

The second IMO was just barely watchable, the third one had some cool moments but the ending may go down as one of the corniest movie endings of all time, I mean come on storming the beaches of Normandy anyone?

Yep, the ending was the worst part of JP3

Well, I know that, but Dino's aren't possible either. Regardless, I was talking about prior to that clip... the GLASS moment.

Yeah, that's the only good thing about the movie. Great visuals there.

In The Lost World novel, Eddie Carr (the character who got eaten by those two Tyranosaurs) actually got eaten by Velociraptors. Right after the scene where the car was over the cliff. He was in the tree cage lift thing and the raptors tried to climb the tree and they grabbed him.

There's no such thing. You can never have enough Goldblum.

But you CAN have enough Julianne Moore...I don't find her the least bit attractive.

And her character was written to be stupid, pig-headed, obnoxious, touchy-feely. Don't you want to scream "I told you so!" at her every time you watch it?

Well, these rumors are enough to bring me to this site and this forum. I am so freaking pumped at the thought of a Jurassic Park expansion being very possible and likely happening.

That said, I am a little curious about the Amber Mine coaster concept.. While it does seem neat, its too bad they wont theme it in a way that would incorporate the dinosaurs.. There is just so much potential for a ride that utilize more on that front. I would kill for a Jeep Adventure ride.. it baffles me that the ride as never happened. Yes, I suppose it is similar to the water ride in a few ways, but I am sure that enough could be done to make it stand out.. Besides, the dinosaurs should be the main attraction, and that format would be perfect to utilize them! Whether it be a coaster like ride or something closer to the Disney's Dinosaur ride I'm not sure, but it just seems like the perfect opportunity. Maybe in time..

As for the Discovery Center ride/attraction/thing.. I have to say it sounds awesome. Simple, but if done right it seems like it would be a really neat experience.

Anyways, I hope we hear more soon! As long as the overall park gets more dinosaurs that are high quality and movie accurate I (and many others) will likely be happy.

This is easily my favorite potential update/addition for Orlando right now. I hope they see it through.

Yup, ah well, being a JP fan I am used to waiting.

That said, depending on how big Universal starts treating JP4 I could see them announcing the expansion alongside the movie details.

truthfully i was hoping for a jeep ride or something. mainly because i love the idea of the dino's escpaing and attack but i hate the river adventure with a passion. i'm not a fan of water rides but i was ready to give that a pass for JP, and truthfully the ride just was not something i enjoyed i dont know why but all the dino you want to see go past too quickly. its just something i've never enjoyed.

that and truthfully the photographer in me has always wanted to get a shot of the rex which is never gonna happen lol

and as much as i want to see the discovery centre ride that is rumoured it seems to be more of a slow "educational" ride about jurassic park

I could not disagree more. The Jeep Ride from the concepts we saw is just River Adventure on Land. The fact that just because according to you it's bad because it's a Water Ride is quite silly IMHO. The ride gets the feeling of JP perfectly and does it amazingly. Also JP isn't just about the thrill....especially if this is supposed to be a real JP. Any JP fan would LOVE to see the tour from the First JP realized in RL and that's what we're getting in the Discovery Center ride.

Me too. I am looking towards the Discover Center ride far more than the mine train. Hopefully the playground is enhanced rather than redone. I like the caves.

Remember those suits walking around Toon Lagoon? Seems one of there missions were to stand in Toon Lagoon and get a glimpse at JP from TL. Seems they were very interested in the view...

i didn;t say i hated the ride because it was a water ride, i admitted i wasnt a fan because of the water feature, but was still willing to look past that, due to my love of the franchise. but the other aspects of the ride just didn't work for me. the like the raptors and rex from my own personal perspective are all blink and you'll miss it which loses a lot of the wonder and awe that the dinos on film had. and the whole build up seems to be for the drop rather than the atmosphere of the experience just my opinion, plus i feel the water was a shot in the foot for aspects of maintenance(which we have seen to be very true) plus it loses a lot of impact when you have an entire land in the same theme park full of nothing but water rides. look its just my opinion water ride element aside i've just always been disappointed in the main ride of the jurassic park island.

and the whole build up seems to be for the drop rather than the atmosphere of the experience. you say we're getting that form the DC ride, now correct me if i'm wrong but wont the DC be based on the ride grant and co take where they watch the mr dna video and see the eggs, which like i said seems to be a nice slow easy enjoyable ride, and if thats how it will play out while it will be a great ride for the die hard fans of the franchise i dont see it having crowds flock to JP like the rumoured additions of Springfield and WWOHP
