Hahaha, brilliant! Since the prospect of a proper Jeep Adventure is all but dead and buried, I wouldn't mind seeing a kiddie jeep ride similar to the Egyptian themed cruisers in Universal Singapore.

Edit: well maybe not "kiddie", but a small scale version the whole family could experience.

Question. How come there's a lot more Dino AA's in Hollywood's version of River Adventure? That's what I feel like River Adventure at IOA is missing. Like for instance when you first get knocked off track and go into the Raptor area. There's no raptors at all. Not until you start going into the building. Anyways I feel like a few new surprises would really help refresh River Adventure as a ride whole. Also I was thinking it would be really cool if there was a Raptor popping its out head out of the box that's about to fall on you.

I'm okay with the amber mine coaster and 2 flat rides. There's quite a variety of flat rides out there besides your basic spinners, ferris wheels, and carousels. I wouldn't mind seeing a Sandstorm-esque type ride and perhaps a Ali Baba/1001 Nacht ride.

There are no raptors on the Hollywood version before the lift hill either. It because they don't stick around their old holding pen. They need to explore they are animals after all.

But there is a lot more AA Dino's in their version. That's what I was getting it.

What do you consider "a lot"? JP at USH has a baby ultrasaur, an extra Trex head (about where IoA has the door slash effect) and an extra Dino after the splashdown. IoA had a much more impressive finale Trex, and only a couple fewer dinos -- plus it doesn't have a giant parking garage destroying the view.

3 extra dinosaurs compared to a ride which currently has about 12? That's a 25% difference. I'm not saying JPRA needs more dinosaurs, but his point isn't as unwarranted as you're making it seem to be.

I agree that the Hollywood version looks better. I'm only comparing by watching youtube videos though.

Actually, I think IoA's JPRA has 15 dinos, making it a 20% difference, but your point is well taken. I was just saying that the popular misconception that USH has "a lot" more Dinos isn't actually accurate. Each ride has its positives, I slightly prefer USH but mostly because I ride it less often. And I believe USJ's mirror-image version kicks both US parks' butts...

Don't get me wrong, I love JPRA. But I was just saying maybe add some new fresh additions? Like some new Dinos or other special effects?

Amen, I'd love to see a mess of new dinos added. Better yet, get the ones they have working 100% with new skins that don't look like they've been chewed on by velociraptors...

I prefer Hollywoods over ours. The T-Rex swinging trough the waterfall is far more impressive than coming around the corner and just seeing ours.

I do love the dropping Trex head at the top of USH's lift, but the waterfall around the finale is really there to hide the fact that Cali's Trex "ain't go no body". IoA's full-body Trex is much more impressively engineered, especially when his arms aren't falling off. Once upon a time he "walked" forward towards the boats instead of just springing to life as you approach, but I can't remember the last time that movement really worked.

And USJ's looks best of all...

I kind of like that though. It makes it scarier, because you're like "Oh, hell no! I don't want to get near that thing!". But of course, you're being pulled to it.

If they added Hollywood's second Ultrasaur/Brachiosaurus to the beginning of the ride, I would prefer the Florida version.

Eh, I disagree. I'm with Cheezbat. The waterfall is a pretty cool effect and much more surprising with the T-Rex pops out of the water. Ours is really bad when the timing is off.

I feel like IOA's definitely looks more realistic. But I also do really love the waterfall effect Hollywood uses with the T-Rex.

He walked forward? Wow! I'd love to see video of this. Sounds awesome.

It was more like he moved forward a couple feet while his legs moved. I doubt there were any low-light camcorders in 1999 good enough to really capture it though...
