From the wait time thread, I've heard people are actually waiting a fraction of the posted wait time, any truth to this?

Big time, both from my experience and from many friends as well.

Ride 1 - Walk on (first train of AP preview)
Ride 2 - Single rider, so no posted time. Waited 20 minutes.
Ride 3 - Regular queue on Friday. Posted 75 min. Waited 25 minutes.
Ride 4 - Didn't wait for reasons.

This thing is a capacity beast.

Went through Single Riders on Monday night, just before close. Waited 26.5 minutes, from locker close to locker open.

If it's running all 4 trains it always seems to be a 25 to 30 minute wait no matter what the wait time says out front, BUT, if it is only running 2 trains, it may be closer to the posted time (60+ minute wait).

They may be inflating times in case they have to take a train or two off, or just while they're getting used to operations.

With the addition of VC & Raptor Encounter, I have come to the conclusion that what once was a criminally underutilized section of the park has now become the best overall land the park has.

Wait time was posted at 60 minutes yesterday in the morning

I waited through the outdoor queue and indoor, I'd say around 45 minutes ish

It seemed like the only ride that was constantly moving guests yesterday

Also, It is really nice to see the Discovery Center bustling with so much activity again

Anxiously waiting for more reviews lol. Seems like the perfect kind of IPA for a theme park though, not overpowering in flavor. Seems refreshing after a ride!

now THIS is exciting. One of my biggest complaints with the exclusive craft beers at theme parks is they usually go for a pale ale or lager. Can't wait to try this.

Is'nt themed beer at a theme park just a regular beer that a small distributor makes with a new label posted on it? I can't imagine theme parks are paying for research and developement of a new beer.

Yes and no, there are styles and best practices they can follow that doesn’t involve experimenting with unique hops and malts. I don’t think they’re just rebranding their existing beers but they also likely aren’t crating something so unique like they would for their own named beers.

This is new. Pretty good, not “piney” hoppy at all. Instead it has a pink grapefruit aroma/taste.

After another day and another beer, I think this is pretty damn good. I typically like grapefruity IPAs, and this is the first one I’ve had that has a pink grapefruit slant to it. Yummy.

Also, Hogs Head porch is now for Three Broomstick customers only, and even then there is a line, so this outside area in front of Burger Digs might just be our new IOA break spot.

A+ all around, if you include both aspects.

Or A+ just for the beer too it sounds, forget the massive ride nearby.

This sounds like every summer beer I enjoy, hope it sticks around!
