I wouldn't be surprised if Universal's announcement strategy changes going forward and this is just how Karen sees it as the best way to do business. Announcing a house so early had Big Disney Energy to it, for example.

I don't understand the "people may delay their vacation" mentality, it happened ONCE because it was Harry Potter and Universal only built a terrible coaster the year before

It's like, you know you're a globally visited resort and a lot of people may just come twice right? lol
