That would be ideal. I love the UOR, but to be honest, their apps have always been crap. They need to develop something simple and effective with just park map, wait times, and showtimes.

This^^^. I think sometimes app developers forget that apps exist to solve a problem... All I wanna know when I am in a park is the three things you mentioned: How do I get to where I wanna go, How long is the wait, and what time is X happening. Although cool, the ScreenPlay augmented reality app serves no purpose. It's something nobody asked for. Millennials will be over it in a millisecond.

They definitely need a separate app that is super simple. Just a map, wait times and show times. All with a super fast load time. If they try to add in all kinds of bells and whistles it makes the original purpose less useful.

I believe as the ScreenPlay is now is basically proof of concept so to say, I think the technology would be used for interactive photo opportunities in the parks.

Care to tell us where? Also, why would you have posted it elsewhere when this is clearly the right place to post it in the first place?

Since he would rather not repost it in the proper thread, I'll repost his information.

There's going to be a "Special Edition" park map on 6/20, and after that the new version should be rolling out, if not on that day.

I chose not to post it here, leaving it in the Stash.

Here's the "new" map. Transformers has been added but the Simpsons is unchanged and will probably remain so for a while.

Not sure if this is new or I've just never noticed it:

Gambit for the win! Here is your  as promised.

I have never noticed the storm warning, but it is funny. Basically "Heads up, if it starts raining it is time to shop!"

An interesting thing I noticed today in the office I work at. We just got the new Universal brochures that now have Transformers on them but it's what wasn't there that caught my interesting. As of now, the Lost Continent is officially not mentioned once in the whole brochure. It's not even listed as an island in the list of the IOA lands.

Ok, pet peeve about Universal Park maps that I have kept silent about for YEARS. Almost all of the ride logos on their park maps are bitmapped crap-res. The logos should be vector based and clean as a whistle, meaning the file should go to print as an Adobe Illustrator document with a bitmapped background and vector logo graphics on the layer above. Just look at the fuzzy transformers logo... dreadful. Both IOA and US have this issue.

I believe the Toon Lagoon logo is one of the few that are vector printed... clean and sharp.

I miss the old days where you didn't just see the ride name on the map, you saw what was goin down in that ride! Kongfrontation had King Kong climbing over the building, and the logo for T2 was dominated by a big T-100 shooting stuff up. My favorite logo was the old Twister one, where it had the tornado tearing up the Universal arch.
