Someone on twitter told me this was close to I-4 around the Kirkman area. I also saw someone say the balloons were on both sides of I-4. Doesn't sound like it was the land we would be looking at for this, but no one is giving a straight/definitive answer.

That which is being referred to as "racers" will be mats. BTW, as I am unfamiliar with waterparks, I searched for racers in google images and they all look like strips of childrens toothpaste in a row. I can't figure out how anyone will know they won on this rig... perhaps a "video" and/or "photo" finish? :stunned:

Racing stripes always look cliche, Aquatica's Taumata is nice looking though:

They can have the slides all deviate from one starting point and then meet back up again and dump into one shared pool at the end.

Not sure if this is considered a racer ... Mach 5 is ok, would be better if it was a bit higher and faster; but who knows ... something like Mach 5 done a bit more thrilling, you twist and turn through volcanic rockwork ... would be awesome

Yea, matching it up with Google street view shows the view would line up

EDIT: Not sure if this works, but here's the Google street view and how it lines up.

Eye catching height ain't it. I believe it is the lower balloon that is at 200' or so. The upper balloons might be for effects/pyro?

Going by Teebins diagram & photo I would guess it's the two CBBR towers and the volcano.

The only thing I don't really understand is, if this is for Wondersea, why there are balloons on both sides of I-4

I believe that they are mistaken and making an assumption, forgetting that I4 turns hard south at that corner. It does not continue straight.

Maybe they are trying to judge sight lines for something along with it?

Someone else was saying that there were four rather high balloons in the Major Blvd area east of Uni this morning also.

After looking at the "Ultimate I-4" project page, unless they have height balloon tests for tower cranes, this has nothing to do with that.

That'll be further to the North/East too. But who would actually need a visual reference for the height... UC. It makes sense for them to want to see this from different positions in the surrounding area.

Just throwing this out there, but could it possibly be to decide between a height without safety lights and a bigger height that would require the lights?

I hope we get a few more photos coming in from other angles. Is no one at the parks and hotels today? Too, I wonder how long they were up for. And what's up with major blvd if accurate?

I am hoping the same thing. But Major Blvd? I thought these were on the other side of Adventure Way.

BTW, I never mentioned this: Though I imagined different corners of the property 12 months ago when I got wind of it, lost in my dreams of something big, I had an epiphany a few months later. The answer is, dead center of the triangle. That is the location.
