Turning it into an EMV sim dark ride just makes it a bigger version of the home game like Toy Story Mania. These tracks and enviorments require racing by full sets IMO, it'd be much more impressive. They have tons of space to work with.

Impressive, yes. Feasible, no. Take a look at Google Maps. RSR is bigger than the entire expansion plot, and TT nearly is. Meanwhile, you could fit several show buildings on the plot.

I don't want to see a mashed up Nintendo Land or it be a part of an even bigger Japanese area of USF. The Mushroom Kingdom deserves it's own incredibly detailed land. That's just my opinion though. I like Mario/MK as the KidZone replacement. Then talk about bringing other Nintendo properties to other areas of the resort.

It will probably be a land built around minilands of multiple properties. Think the original Lost Continent

Nintendo also has a ton of memorable music, wonder what it will sound like walking through the Nintendo area. Potential for a lot of shows too I think. The main Zelda theme just screams show of some sort to me, whether it be fireworks or parade

I could see Saffron City in The Studios to keep with the cohesion of the Urban theme...Mushroom Kingdom in IOA to keep with the fantasy theme...Free for all in the 3rd gate..

I do wonder if Universal quit trying with LOTR...I thought that was a shure fit for TL

I like how a couple of months ago we were talking about how this merger would never happen....here we are

What if that rumored live-action Legend of Zelda show on Netflix happened; any chance a Zelda ride could be based on that? Wouldn't be my first choice but it would be a way to have something live-action if they wanted it (for a cartoonish video game area.)

I'm amazed that Disney fan boys aren't talking about the ace up Iger's sleeve, where he allows universal to build all the Nintendo attractions and then buys Nintendo, and forces universal to move the rides to Hollywood studios. Lol

that's one word for it....I could think of several more...delusional, few cards short of a half deck, living under a rock, no sense of reality, truly living in fantasyland, etc.

A lot of the big properties have been named but here's my hopes on what franchises are there including:

Toadstool Kingdom: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Toad all merchandise and drinks
Hyrule: Link, Zelda, Ganon, Deku Trees, Tingle all merchandise and drinks
Pokemon Center: Could be a indoor gym hopefully with Pokemon battles with Ash, Brocke, Pikachu, and Nurse Joy all merchandise drinks
Zebes: Probably only for a spaceship you go into for a MiB style ride
DK Country: Donkey, Diddy, and the whole kong crew
Star Fox: Fox, Slippy, Falco, lots to do with this.
Animal Crossing: Villager, Random animal villagers, Tom Nook (DUH) Merchandise and drinks
Earthbound: Just give me the house and I'll be happy
Outside Cart merchandise: Pikmen
And just for fun have Kirby in each area morphed into one of the inhabitants

I better see a restaurant where they serve "Lotsa Spaghetti!"

I wonder if the new hotel they'll build will be Hotel Mario.

A Donkey Kong mine cart based on a Mack ride system could be cool.

That was my initial thought too.

We have heard they want this to be the family land and the two leading ride systems I and others have mentioned are Space Fantasy and Radiator Springs Racers and both rides have a 40" height requirement. Given that Uni seems to be realizing that they need more rides that smaller kids can ride (Kong) would they want two flagship rides to have that kind of height requirement?

Don't expect anything like RSR. WAY too large of an area required for that
