No Cinespec on Oct 2nd?

Whats going on Tues Oct 2nd at Universal that Cinespec is cancelled? anyone hear anything? I had a res for Lombards on my package and they called to say I had to go Monday or Wed instead because Tues they werent having the show and the CSR didnt know why. Just a curiosity

Correction: I just checked and the 2nd is not a event night. My bad. :doh:

lol oh well thats a good reason then...Ya I did mean the Oct 1st tues. I had to change to Monday for that and was just wondering if something was happening that week other than HHN

Just to mention and finish this little short thread off...I did get to go On the Monday Oct 1st and did the dinner at Lombards package for CINESPEC so a short review The show was really fun as always and the dinner was pretty good at Lombards...the menu was different from last year as now they dont offer a steak. they had steak medallions which the sides were similar to the old steak dish(which turned out to be better than the teeny sirloin I got last year...I wish I liked fish but oh well my parents enjoyed theirs) appetizers were buffalo wings which were a large serving amd pretty good also. There was some huge party of like 20 people so we got no service at all so that was kind of a drawback.But otherwise we liked our food and had a nice seat by the fish tank so no complaints.The desert buffet was a lot smaller than last year and the selection was not as good.Lots of mini pastries weird whoopie pies that tasted funny and some cookies. No cheesecakes or cute little individual key lime pies like they used to have, no brownies :-(... other people were expressing their disappointment in it as well...I still had a few things that were ok but nothing memorable and coffee plus they gave little tiny bottled waters as well...It was still worth the splurge to watch a free show with a table and we would probably still do it again but now that you can do the same for $15 at the simpsons spot its probably a better choice with a beer and a donut sundae lol
