"Old School" Universal Orlando

Just wondering if anyone has full scans of some of the brochures from back in the day featuring characters like Doc Brown, ET, etc on the cover...it's surprisingly difficult to find pics/scans online! :(

Believe it or not, that wasn't an attraction, it was an actual camera & film developing shop. Remember film?
I used to get a great deal on 1-hour prints with my employee discount. Sigh...

i always wondered if that was ever a legit camera shop. you'd think theyd bring it back and sell cheap digital ones

Well, for a change, let's go really old school. Universal Orlando Resort circa 1980:

I'm sure I have a lot of pictures from the preview centre that I can look out once my parents house has been redecorated. I'll try and get them up after Christmas.

This has brought back a lot of happy memories reading through all this although it's sad that some of the links are now dead.

Awesome. Surprised Jaws wasn't in that book. USF opened with a nice amount of attractions and I hope they continue developing shows and attractions that make it as well-rounded as it was on day one.

Jaws was only open very briefly and had too many problems, so they closed and re-worked it for a few years (3 or 4?) before bringing it back.

it opened 1990 but for some reason the company that built it didn't waterproof the ride so universal had to close and rebuild and it opened back up in 1992

The copyright is 1991 and BBTF is included so I'd hazard it's a mid 1991 book, with Jaws closed in embarrassment for its rebuild.
