Go to MNSSHP instead?

Make sure to catch the exclusive photo-ops (not the same as treat trails) - Kingdom Hearts, Sanderson Sisters, Pain/Panic, etc

Also be sure to do Guardians for the best version of the ride. (Throw in Mator's too if you can).

Contemplate what you're going to do with the excessive amount of candy when it comes to returning to FL lol

Flew over from Orlando this morning in the nick of time! Going tonight. Other than getting in at 4 and queuing for oogie boogie first and doing the villians trail right after the first parade, any other tips?

I went two weeks ago

I'd hit Judge Doom around the the time the first parade starts then line then hit the Villains Grove Once or twice if its a walk on

Also the Second Parade does have less people but people still line up plenty early for it, so if you want a front row spot make time for that if not then just find a spot for the parade a few mins before

I'd get food before the event

GOTG Monsters in the dark, I'd hit as the last thing you do or before the event. You can still enter the line for attractions until 11 PM, so I'd for sure hit a ride right as the night is about to end.

If you do want to do Racers before the event, I'd try Single rider.

The candy bag is not big, if you dont care about getting more candy then that enjoy, if you do care they have a Halloween bag at most stores in the park thats under 5 bucks and cute...and will hold all the Candy you need and more

Lockers are also on the right as you enter, next to the bathrooms and are pretty cheap if you need to store stuff during the event

The Kingdom Hearts Meet and Greet seems to always be 20-30 mins...never heard of anyone doing it in less. Also if you see a character out...unless they just got there, there is a big chance they leave...I missed Donald by one guest

In other news, Kingdom Hearts Mickey had a wardrobe malfunction the other night. His pants dropped on the way to the meet-n-greet spot.

Guess Mickey was confused & thought it was the "Disneyland: After Dark" event :eyes:

Thanks guys! I had a blast! Skipped villians Grove as it's just lights (to me). Line to photo op the Sanderson sisters was 90 mins so said forget it for the rest lol. Did get some character photos. And still lugging around all this candy until I fly back tomorrow lol.

Did anyone hear about how they’re asking if they should include haunted mazes on their surveys? Also apparently they do haunted mazes for cast members only?! There’s one called Ghoul House in the Redwood challenge area (there’s footage of this one) and I looked further into it and apparently there is also something called Boo on Batuu?!

Cmon Disney, give me a reason to finally go to Oogie Boogie!!!

I did see that in the survey I took but don't remember much since it was almost a month ago.

I took the survey years ago. It isn’t a new idea.

I'd love to see OBB include a haunt or two because they would seriously be so weird. Like I think we could expect some incredible polish and execution, but I also think there would be some big time reluctance to lean all the way in like HHN or KSF. It would be such a weird, discombobulated experience and I'd go in a heartbeat.

If they did a haunted house or two, I think it would be really neat! It would offer guests a bit more of an intense experience and it would be isolated from the rest of the event. That way if you don't want anything scary, all you have to do is just not go in them.

My only concern is that Disney is gonna be like "Well now that we offer exclusive haunted attractions for the event, we can double the price!"

One or two haunts....the line for the houses would be longer than the event time.

Disney would never do a traditional haunt. At most, it would be an elaborate meet and greet. Imagine walking through Halloweentown before a meet and greet with Jack and Sally. Or walking through Salem before meeting the Sandersons and Billy.

As we all know, that recent Simpsons survey came out recently. While they are mixed feelings on the IP getting its own land at this phase in its existence, I think a better fit for Simpsons right now at Disney parks would be to do something at Oogie Boogie Bash. Treehouse of Horror related meet and greets could be pretty impressive.

Correction: U.S. Disney "will never".

Paris & Hong Kong already have.

I did the one in Hong Kong. It was great. It wasn't a traditional haunt in the way we imagine like HHN. It was more like room.. exposition.. another room.. exposition. It was great fun though.

Here's "Terrorific Night 2011" footage at Disneyland Paris

2012 content

2012 "Terror Tram"

there's a few other videos on youtube, but U.S. Disney Parks would never. Hell, I'd take "scarier" meet-n-greet photo-op characters at the parks (Bring back Zombie Captain America!!) since they have decent horror in their Vault, especially due to Fox

In the spirit of the conversation on what they should be doing with these events

Disney the company that makes amazing tech then locks it away for no real reason...even if they literally have the tech or costumes made (cough cough Zombie Captain America)

Oggie Boogie is a fun even but I think we can all agree Disney is also pretty plazy about updating these events properly

Oggie Boogie Bash had a Villains WOC....then just never came back it wasn't the best but they have tweeted WOC since day one and think a Villains WOC would be a huge hit for the event

It was great. I saw it the first year in 2019. Actually wouldn't have minded a Disney+ animated movie of it.

But yea... $130+ for less entertainment, but hey, "free" candy *sigh*
