So... Pandora?

All joking aside, I was a little surprised to see such an industrial-looking queue for Flight of Passage. Looking back, it makes more sense than a hike through the mountains, but I'm wondering if Disney will be able to pull off something of visual interest in there.

Keep in mind, this is big, big queue, and this is just one picture. Scenes will change.

Same here. I was expecting something 100% different. But, when you think about it, I guess it makes sense.

Yeah, basically I envisioned something like that or something similar to the boat ride.

Only problem (storywise) wit the queue is that it doesn't fit the idea that ACE had taken over the RDA (or whatever it's called), and that lab area looks perfectly normal.

Do you think the average customer cares whos fault it is? It's still valid criticism . If you can hear and see the traffic from the cabanas, then that'll be 10x worse. People paying good money arn't going to be like, "it's not Universals fault the highway is there". They might think or say "wow, there's a busy highway right across the street, that's odd and unsightly".

Alternative Hot Take:

Pandora is next to employee parking, guest parking, and the DAK bus terminal. How will Disney handle something they've created being right next door?

It's a bad argument dude.

I don't think the "highway" will be an issue when you are on the ground, but when you are climbing the slide towers it's sure to be an eye sore. However, there isn't much they can do about this situation. It is what it is.

Back of topic...the "lab" queue seems off to me. Especially when everything else appears to be so overgrown and lush. I guess it's a retired military science lab?

Can't wait to see what info they release tomorrow.

Make sure to bring sugar cubes to give your banshees for being a good creature.

Although they'd probably prefer one of the soldiers for a meal. :)

Well, keep in mind that the lab was run by the scientists, not the military. With the idea that we're here to learn more about the planet, it makes sense that the Avatar program would've started up once the mercenaries were defeated. It's just a stark visual contrast, which may explain why Martin over on Magic is more keen on the boat's queue.

I'll definitely withhold my judgement till we see more, one pictures is tough to judge the whole queue.

But I'd be lying if didn't say i expect a lot from this queue and ride story set up. There is just so much potential.

Change 5 times I believe and this footage of the queue is very old...or at least the concept of it. I thought it had been released 2 years ago...or maybe when i first saw it ;)
