Yes, it was really nasty here the last three days. Highs mid to high 90's. Generally here on my little private mountain, the nights are breezy, cool and comfortable. But the last three evenings were like hell's kitchen. Thank god for central air cond.

6:30 this morning... the cruise ship had just arrived and was setting anchor. The only time of the day I can drive downtown to the water in relative peace.

Sooo, the tourists are there I presume....Damn, that cruise ship has to hold enough people to flood every inch of your beautiful island.

The island is 108 square miles so not really at all. However, added to the tourists already here in the town of Bar Harbor it does fill the sidewalks!
