I love this picture. A proud father and son, who endured the morning heat and won the prize to meet Mr. Ray Park himself. This picture shows the joy, happiness and bliss that truly is Disney.

Just a botany note here. That is a VERY OLD date palm that at some point 20-30 years ago blew over in a hurricane. When it fell, its top fell up against some sort of barrier such as a building or stone wall in an abandoned area thus the twist and turn. The overall palm must be 50-70 years old. (date palms only grow at 5-7 inches per year and thus the large versions of some date palm species can be VERY expensive with a high of $400.00 per foot) Bent ones like this would go for a song as they are only good as a curiosity.

Saw tons of those when I was working down at Sanibell Island.
