Awesome Shot, I really enjoy this kind of photography and am looking forward to trying similar shots in Sept. What were the settings, lens filters used Mike?

Aperture no sure since the lens is a manual lens and doesn't give Flickr that info. My guess f/8
ISO -100

Thanks Mike,

My only concern for me is that the parks will be closed before dark (Sept/Oct). Been looking at park hours and sunsets and I may well be out of luck, especially at Uni.

It does get dark pretty early that time of year so you may be able to catch some at the end of the day.

How did you get HDRs of the queue PHbry? Why isn't anyone else in the shot(s)?

He could have made an HDR out of a single shot but wouldn't have been too difficult to take a couple shots while standing there to make a multiple shot HDR.

HDR out of a single shot? How so? BTW, do some of the more complex cams have an auto HDR shoot mode, taking multiples in a row while automatically changing the settings?

Most DSLR have that HDR function, whether its a 3 shot, 6 shot or whatever it maybe. Mine will only do a 3 shot HDR and automatically adjust the exposure while taking 3 pictures in a row

For a single shot HDR ill go into my editing program and save a copy at exposure 0 then take the original adjust the exposure itself +1, -1 for as many as I need and save copies for multiple exposures of the same shot, then from there combine in the HDR program.
