My nightmare would be getting stuck during the vertical lift on RRR. At our county fair I saw someone stuck in the 'Toboggan' ride which has a vertical lift. I'd lose it.

^Funny story about that. I forget who told this one.

So remember how they built half the lift for Rockit and then took it down and rebuilt it? Well here's why... The original lift design was going to use a clutch to hold the chain in place for parking/E-Stops. The idea was that a train could be lowered back down to the station for evacs. Well the state didn't like that and made them put anti-rollback teeth on it.

There are numerous unpublished stories about the hell that was Rockit Construction and programming. I mean there was some crazy stuff guys crazy stuff...

I think that one is factual. I remember reading about it. It might even be buried some where on this forum. I had either read it on here, The Vault or IOAC. I'm pretty sure it was on here though.

That story is indeed true, and they did want a way to lower the train back off the lift for evacs.
