As for what they should do with the queue, I think a lab setting is fine, it just needs to be better executed with more nods to the character's comic lore.

I believe a lab of some kind/style was in the plan but then I heard that UC changed their minds and were going in a different direction. Now, I do not know if this means they are going for a "different" themed lab or if a lab of any kind is out of the picture. I just do not know...

I personally like the lab idea (not the current poorly air conditioned iteration) myself and would like to see an update. Perhaps a military slant could work as well. Where they are trying to evacuate you out of the ravaged base with the launch occurring amidst army gun fire and the roar of the Hulk.

That could be cool. The early issues of the Hulk often took place in the vicinity of military bases. The chaos worked well in those scenarios. Reminds me of the Orlando Universal Transformers opening.

I think its great they're finally putting some work into the Hulk; it's a park icon. I like the Stark Industries Lab idea but I'd also like to see some metropolitan theming around the entrance. Maybe something along the lines of destroyed vehicles and buildings, or Hulk footprints in the pavement. Maybe some smoke effects on the props. Something that clearly indicates the presence of the attraction. I'm personally not a fan of the current cardboard cutout and I think this attraction deserves much better considering the facades on these new rides.

Any reason as to why Hulk opened up an hour later yesterday and will do the same on July 14?

That could be anything from a VIP tour and explanation of future changes to lead engineers reviewing the coming job.
