For those of you staying at the Falls now, do you suggest pool view or lagoon view? I'm currently booked at a pool view but the lagoon looks pretty amazing, wondering if I should change?

And it starts already with the TripAdvisor reviews:

"Not only did this not happen, but we didn't get express passes even though this hotel is within the same category as Leows Royal Pacific who provide them."

Sigh...people are so willfully ignorant.

That shot was actually from Universal's B-Roll footage they supplied. Thought the shot was too good to not include it.

From what I can read off the menus, it looks like the menu at Strong Water Tavern is, by far, the most interesting and varied. Amatista Cookhouse looks kind of similar to Jake's at Royal Pacific.

Can you take under 21 into the Tavern?

Idiots. Did they not notice the price difference? Like the people who thought they were so smart booking CB, saving all that money.. The fools paying so much for RP, than D'oh no express pass. Idiots.

Looks like opening day was a disaster.

Some guests are clueless but universal isn't the best in customer service.

Not that everyone would make the distinction, but isn't it Loew's instead of Universal that actually runs the hotels?

As a guest, I wouldn't really care. The Loews hotels are in Universal. If something horrible happens in those hotels, it'll look bad on Universal. While working in customer service at a grocery store, people would come in saying their Doritos bag had a string inside. The grocery store is not at fault but we would gladly exchange/return the product, apologize and let the customer take a product free. I hate when companies play the blame game, just make it right.

There's so much bad word of mouth that people are cancelling their rooms left and right.

Just kidding. It's sold out for tonight and tomorrow.

Who says they didn't? And what are you basing this disaster off of?

They weren't expecting guests to check in yesterday? What about the painters tape left in the rooms? Having guests wait 2 plus hours to check-in was very inconsiderate.

Hence the "Here we go" earlier....

RFID Room Key machines went down, in addition to the whole in-flux of filling in 1,000 rooms - especially during the prime-time check-in of 3-6. Yes, it didn't go smoothly, but they were taking care guests the whole time and many were satisfied with end result. Did we miss this part of the convo on the forums, or did we just focus on the negative?

While they should know better, Sapphire looks like a better hotel than Royal Pacific so for that hotel to have Express and Sapphire not to is a slightly odd thing.

Probably figured the demo they are aiming for won't care about Express.

And 1000 more rooms with express would lengthen the express lines in the park.
