It's difficult for me to trust the opinion of someone who gave BVS glowing reviews and still to this day defends it. I like DC, but that movie was just not good. Thus why I would take anything she says with a giant grain of salt.

That's not the point - the reason it was disqualified is someone literally forgot to submit it for consideration. The gaffe is more intriguing than the score itself.
