So quick question how exactly does flat ride construction work? I haven't really seen one be built and it was kind of hard to tell with Dumbo, plus I didn't really pay attention to it. Is the ride assembled off site, and just put in place like a super themed high quality fair ride, or will we be able to see this thing progress from bare bone mechanical parts to the final product.

I am sure this will not be a portable flat ride like carnivals use. That said, as BriMan already mentioned. It will mostly be assembled at the manufacture and the components put together on site. Some of the theming elements will be installed after the mechanicals have be assembled.

I have worked in the industry and assembled a couple of flat rides before.

I apologize if this has been mentioned, but do you know who is constructing this flat?

You'd like cotton candy until you had to make it for 4 hours straight like I did when I worked in Frontierland  All in all I think this expansion in themeing is going to be great. I can't wait to see if the cars that are being added will have any effects in them.

For the last time, no more cotton candy discussion. I've already posted twice to get back on topic.

The money drink more than likely will be offered at Moe's not Krusty since Moes is its own seperate entity.

Using lesser-known products is not what's going to draw people in. They might have little nods, like the "Bort" tags, but they are going to use the well-known products to attraction attention.

Then why are we getting Kentucky Fried Panda and General Chang's? They're not well known but we're getting them.

Well they are not going to put a Luigi's since they have Louie's in NY. So name a better-known alternative eatery that offeres variety?

With the products, you're going to see in addition to the Squishee's: Flaming Moe's and/or Flaming Homer's, real Duff Beer, and possibly Buzz Cola. There is no need for obscure references in that regard.

.

Not Fast Food spots, and are probably just as known as the other 2 spots you mentioned. The restaurants you'll see are part of the Fast Food District, so not only does it offer a different variety that you don't see in the park, but themeing wise, it ties in to the show wonderfully.

Dude, not everything needs to be known by everyone. I don't watch the Simpsons, so to me, the offerings aren't going to matter (the same will be to many others). It's the same as with attractions -- If it's good, people aren't gonna give a crap about the source material or how well known it is. Good things are good.

OH I Know. I'm just saying it's no sense in complaining about General Changs's or KFP being used as food spots instead of the others since they're not really known. On top of that choosing obscure restaurants is a little different than investing money into making obscure products like a Money Shake.
