Well, the destinations certainly sound interesting, but I do wish their were even more planets we could visit, such as Endor. Ah well.

I at least hope that while on Naboo, we stay the heck away from Gungan City.

My best guess is that there's several different events that can happen at any single 'destination', so my guess is we visit each of the aforementioned destinations, but the events that occur there differ each ride.

I hope you're right, but with 50 combinations I don't know if it will be that complex. Maybe only 1-3 actual different ride movement sequences, but with different places being show on the screen.

I don't think we will be going to all those locations every time. I was thinking that if there are 5 stations (does anyone know?), each "vehcile" is loaded with 10 different programs which are picked at random. The question is, does the actual ride movement change or is it just the scenery...like at one point you take a large dive either through the forest or through the water depending on what planet you are on.

So the new sign is up at Disneyland and the ride is actually called Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. I thought that was a working title.

Dumbest. Name. Ever.

It's not great. But it's not the dumbest name ever. I kinda like it.

It is pretty dumb since to have a follow up or sequel make sense you need the original to be there to support it. That is why I am hoping the ride is not just full of inside jokes only people who rode the original version would get. That being said, I am sure that after a bit of time it will just drop back to Star Tours. The sub-name is just to stress that it is new and not just the same ride to the general public.

Star Tours 2.0 would be perfect. Hell, just keeping it called Star Tours would be 1000000x better.

Besides, "The Adventures Continue" doesn't even make blasted sense! It's a prequel! How can we continue adventures that don't happen until the future!?

The way these things work...after a year or two it will just be called Star Tours if not sooner. First by the public, than by the park maps once the hype has died down. Again, this is a cheap way of making sure people realize its new.

As far as the Star Wars plothole of it having occurrences before the last ride...TOMORROWLAND. Star Wars never belonged in such a titled area anyway, but it was a forced fit since it was future like transport, yet Star Wars since the first line ever shown to the audience in theaters was that these events all happened a long time ago.

The name of the ride is Star Tours...not Star Tours: The Adventure Continues...not Star Tours: A New Adventure...not The ALL NEW Star Tours....not Star Tours 2.0, 3.0 or C3PO...its Star Tours, is it so hard to leave it as is? And just upgrade the park map with the whole spiel of a NEW ADVENTURE.

The name change is truly strange, and hopefully temporary. I honestly think that they should have put up advertising outside the attraction, notifying everyone that it's a new experience.

The name isn't that bad. It is symbolic in that the adventure keeps going on and on because it would take a large number of rides to see all of the different combinations. Its a bad stretch but it could work. And is the new sign permanent?

The most exciting thing on the Star Tours front was the "white shirts" talking to what looked like maybe a park manager. Otherwise nothing too exciting that I was able to get shots of there.
