I was the target market for this trilogy, I was 7 when the first TFA teaser came out. I was Kylo Ren for Halloween that year, before the movie even released, and I obsessively followed the marketing and toys before each films release.
The entire concept of writing the story haphazardly with three different directors was never going to result in a fully realized trilogy, but I love a lot of the individual aspects and scenes in these movies. Especially Ben Solo, I still quote “more, more, MORE” “I know what I have to do, but I don’t know if I have the strength to do it” “No, NO! You’re still holding on, let go” ETC pretty much all the time. Regardless of what the internet thinks about the ST, I’m always gonna love it.
