I think part of it is with Covid this year, we weren't going to get a sit-down doc. It would've been zoom or nothing, so i'm happy with what we got. Sure, filming is happening again, but it's still risky and to film just for a round table would be stupid. Once they realized that that was out of the cards, they probably spliced all of this footage together to at least have something.

I get that but I wished they worked around it. Have Maybe someone interviewing the directors or asking questions that they knew fans would want to know about...cough cough like how Luke was brought into this.

I hope they can go back and do something more for there BIGGEST thing of 2020 and the the show that rebooted Stat war to make fans happy and selling more toys than the entire sequels could have from two characters.

The more I think about it (and with at least 3 spin-off shows already), I think this show goes 4 seasons. When you think about it, The Mandalorian story itself is being told across all of these shows. I think the finale of all of these shows culminates to an event with Thrawn. Obviously in S3, there's a lot of plot lines to go with as far as Giddeon still being alive, Bo-Katan wanting the Dark Saber, the Grogu situation, and anything that happens in Boba Fett that may tie into this. But then we also have an Ahsoka miniseries that probably brings Ezra into the mix and Rangers of the New Republic.

Season 3 of this show likely sets up the Mandalore stuff. Ahsoka takes it further. Rangers explores threats in the galaxy (and possibly makes Cara into a more complex. character that may be unwilling to help Mando someday), and then Season 4 of The Mandalorian would be the end of this entire saga in my eyes and would be a massive team-up to fight Thrawn. It could end up being way different, but right now, that seems to make a lot of sense, especially since it's been said that both Ahsoka and Boba Fett are miniseries.

I liked her as Cara Dune, but she was literally asking for this to happen with her endless social media postings, especially after Disney just added Equality as their fifth key.

Looking Forward, LucasFilm had pretty much written her out of the season with the exception of Episode 4 and the season finale, so they won't have to work around too much to explain anything.

I mean, it's not like they weren't leaning in the direction anyway. They just now literally dedicate a class for it at orientation upon being hired at WDW or something stressing it.

More so in that, while it should be expected of all companies, with it being one of Disney's famed "keys" now, it's something that people can point to when Disney isn't following it. That's why I mentioned it.

But more to recent Disney precedent... This is basically exactly how Roseanne Barr got herself fired from her own show.
