WDWNT has picked up the GotG coaster rumor again. I have heard a coaster is going into the UOE building but nothing on it being GotG. Additionally I stand by my other info that GotG is still a no go at WDW.

Are you sure it won't be a slow moving theater like ride through a GotG warehouse?

I guess the power plant part explains the solar panels. I think there's a possibility there could be DINOSAURS!

I wouldn't be surprised if they move the F&G/F&W stuff out of WoL over to Innoventions so they feel comfortable using WoL for theme park use again.

Out of everything that could realistically happen, I think this is the most ideal scenario. Imagine the functionality of the WoL Festival Center with the inviting atmosphere of CommuniCore. Hopefully they would have the sense to open the windows back up and knock some walls back down and everything.

I imagine that would mean the golden dome and Buzzy would finally meet the bulldozer. I can't help but notice what it's near. :look:

Just fwiw, @Marni1971 has said he likes the proposed Innoventions replacement from what he knows, which means their plans certainly aren't for the festivals. I mean thinking about it, a ride could theoretically fit in the FW East side Innoventions if they remove the connected Electric Umbrella (as has also been rumored). The ceiling is high enough and the space is large enough.

I'm just almost 100% sure that's not in the works though because it would actually make sense.

When it comes to modern day Disney theme park decisions, we must examine which options would make the most sense and do the most good for the parks... then immediately discard those.

Either Martin is trying to commit Insider Status suicide or his balls are lot bigger than anyone else right now...

Just mentioned the GotG ride will be at least 4 minutes and include a backwards launch:bolt:

Maybe the best way to kill it is by showing all its cards early.

I agree. With technology moving as fast as it is now, it's no longer possible to create an attraction without quickly becoming outdated and Disney's plan of getting sponsors to pay for attractions is no longer viable.

The old Epcot is pretty much dead. Time for it to evolve into something new. And hopefully something better.
