Thanks for the trip report Shelle! Clemson though?! Why?! Had I been there, we would have exchanged dirty looks as we passed each other. Espcecially since I would be wearing a USC Gamecocks shirt.

For anyone going today, keep an eye out for dragon plushies and for a price on scarves for me please.

Yes, dirty looks indeed. Good thing I'm not a Slytherin, something bad might have happened. For anyone who visits, listen for funny things, like kids trying to curse their parents with their wands. WAAAAAHHHH! I don't wanna leave! Aaaavadaa Kedaaaaavra! It'll happen.

Also, I noticed house scarves and house ties were $29.99 each.

We've had a few reviews and some on the Spoiler thread. But everyone's opinion is nice to know.

Also any reviews on merchandise, prices, etc would be appreciated as well.

Ok, so mornings and evenings are to be avoided on International Dr. If places are close enough, we'll just walk.

The deal is, that in the morning everyone is leaving for the parks..and in the early evening (say between 5 and 7) all the tourists are returning to their hotels. It's madness at anytime really. Just be aware it may take you a little longer to get where you are going. Walking is possible, but probably not suggested with all the traffic everywhere. There are several roads that run parallell to International Drive, that are much quicker for getting around. Avoid driving directly on International Drive when you don't have to...

However, you'll see if you click that link I posted..there is every kind of restaurant you could dream of in that area. It's a tourist mecca...kinda like the Strip in Las Vegas.

Shoot, my daughter uses her Princess wand scepter to try to cast spells at me all the time. I can only imagine when she gets her own wand. Her up and coming Kindergarten teacher had to talk with her and tell her she wouldn't need to bring her wand everyday but she could bring it to show and tell. She would be trying to curse the kid that took her toy or didn't share.

Ok! Thanks! I'll mapquest all my routes and avoid International if we can avoid it. And I've spotted a few places already that we'll eat at.

Looks like the GP just got let in again after being told absolutely not all morning.

Just got back from WWoHP. I waited around until about 9:56 and then they let people in. They said: "You have 4 minutes! Go! If you run, you will be asked to leave!" So then we all "fast-walked" there and of course, were allowed to stay until noon.

OH! I ALMOST FORGOT! Someone was proposed to in the park right in front of the Hogwarts Castle. It was so magical.

I can't think of many places where you can walk distances in the States and not stand out, (this an't New York) the whole international drive area is spread out...honeybee good you changed you travel plans from a Disney resort, Universal will be happy.

In the Universal hotel I'm currently in, they are highlighting the exclusive access big time. I think there is battle shaping up to make a Universal hotel visit the easier way to have access to Universal parks and especially TWWoHP with the hope to break the tradition Disney Resort experience when you come to Florida.

That is where the money is.

Why is there a trap ontop of those rocks? Maybe to block the view of the showbuilding more even though the building is exposed right next to the tarp.

4 minutes was the window to get in and i think they let in the group that was waiting there and that's about it
