It will be interesting to see how crowded WWOHP will be today, being Halloween.

:iagree: , and I'm sure next year they will decorate... Christmas is always pretty big in IoA anyway, so I wonder if they'll have decorations in the WWoHP as soon as this year?

Stopped by for a visit yesterday around 5PM.

FJ was a 60 minute wait. Did single rider, got in within a half hr.

It seemed pretty busy in the area itself, probably because everyone that couldn't go to HHN came over to IOA.

Awesome! I only wish I had an AP. If you have one, I suggest you RSVP as soon as possible...

When I read that, my only reaction was meh. I really feel like they should have had something involving Deathly Hallows going on during this Deathly Hallows party. I'm sure it is great for some but I usually leave before closing anyhow, therefore extra hours don't do much for me.

Well I think they plan on adding Deathly Hallows stuff after both movies come out. This is just, IMO, to give AP Holders a treat. I think it would be quite fun to go in the WWoHP at night. But then, I'm a Harry Potter fanboy, soooooo... xD

I'm not talking about an addition to the park or anything, maybe just some special Deathly Hallows merchandise for the party other than a generic poster/pin. It's nice that they're giving us AP Holders another party but it's not worth the trip, IMO.

Yeah, I get where your coming from. I would jump all over any excuse to visit, but that's only because I can go infrequently, if I'm lucky twice a year lol... I hope to go for the first time in a year (and since the WWOHP has opened, it'll be my first visit!) sometime in December... I keep warning my aunt that crowds will be heavy, but she's set on going, soo...

Finally! I've been waiting for a passholder event since soft openings!

Crowds are generally not heavy in December until right before Christmas.

Ok I see one major problem with this. How many passholders does Universal have? Sure they say you have to RSVP but would they seriously put a cap on it? When Revenge of the Mummy opened it had a passholder event spread out over three days from 8PM to Midnight and they opened up Shrek and Jimmy Neutron (Both very new at the time) to compensate for the large crowds that gathered for the event. Even with that setup the line for the Mummy was close to an hour almost the whole night.

Now after seeing the crowds it produced this Summer how many passholders are going to attend this event? One night for two hours is not only a day late and a dollar short but is almost a lousy attempt at getting some additional income for what is sure to be a overcrowded unorganized cluster*.

They put a cap on their HHN Passholder Early Access and wouldn't be surprised if they actually did do the same here, if they can fill it up.

The difference is Mummy was new, HP is not. Most passholders have visited already. Also it's more than just one ride, it's really four plus five shops and a restaurant. And I doubt they'll kick everyone out right at 10 PM, they never do that on regular operating days. Plus you can enter as early as 6 PM. Crowds will not be any higher than the land has already seen, and crowd control will not be a problem.

Honestly I didn't RSVP and I got in early. But the point is moot.

I am referring to the fact the "event" is advertised from 8-10 and it occurs on the opening weekend of one of the biggest movie events in the history of cinema. What does it matter if you can enter at 6PM, any AP can get in at 9AM that day. Crowds don't have to be bigger than they have ever seen for it to be to crowded. It is going to be packed and IMO is long past due. And they can say they will cap the numbers but I have my doubts having attended multiple preview events for Universal and Disney.

The movie has nothing to do with the event. Sure it was timed to celebrate the opening of the movie, but more people will not go because of the movie. Why would you go to CityWalk to see the movie when you can see it at your local theater probably for less money? I agree that it doesn't have to be packed to be crowded, but then WWoHP has been crowded every day since it's opening. Many more people came from elsewhere to visit than there are passholders. I also agree it's overdue, but like I said before, many people have already gone, and if they had done it earlier, it'd be mobbed for sure.

I got mine...I don't think I'll attend though, there really is no incentive if you've already seen everything.
However, after the movie has been out for a couple weeks, I might make an evening out of it with dinner at the Three broomsticks and the movie...ultimate nerd date night!

It says this on the RSVP thing: Must be a Premier or Preferred Annual Passholder and 18 years of age or older to RSVP for Passholder Event.

Are they going to enforce the age thing? I'm not far off, but still. Are they really going to check?

Your pass has your date of birth automatically embedded, if they scan it and they are enforcing it, then yea they will.
