That t-shirt is either sexy or obnoxious. I don't have the head to figure out which it is.

That t-shirt should have some chocolate on it.:)

Diet Coke has a short shelf life so they must be very close to opening.

So if you can drink milk and ice cream I would think milkshake would be ok. A true milkshake place should be just using ice cream, toppings, and milk to make a milkshake. So if you have issues with milk (not ice cream) you will have issues with milkshakes. Ice cream is make with a different dairy than milk. On a side note, McDonald's and places like that make them differently and you could be sensitive to the bacteria that builds up in those machines. Same with soft ice cream. Pregnant woman are actually now being advised to avoid soft serve because of this bacteria.

Oh and same places cheap out and make them with soft serve or mixes and those places might also give you issues if the bacteria is the issue.

Just got back from Citywalk and wow, this place is really impressive in person! That sign is definitely a temporary thing. The fact that the other two signs are 3 dimensional and light up and the main sign does not makes it pretty obvious.

Cannot wait to try this. I've got the lactose pills on standby...

Looks like an Ed Hardy t shirt so I'd say obnoxious.

I love milkshakes but milkshakes don't love me. The huge benefit of staying on site this time is that if I time it right, I can have my milkshake for the walk back to the hotel and be close enough to the toilet in my room by the time the effects kick in.

Lactaid doesn't work for you?
I was lactose intolerant till I had my first kid. It was my first pregnancy symptom, suddenly I could eat ice cream without farting my husband out of the house.
But, I'm guessing that plan won't work for you?

see, I would just be happy if they have the candy shop part open. Not sure I am up for standing in line to get in to eat, as much as I just want to see inside, take pics etc. I also hope they have some yummy candy treats. My daughter is a candy fanatic.

Just heard that mock service begins tomorrow!

I should have some reports on the food tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully first hand...

I remember my first job at Dairy Queen. The Ice Cream we used was essentially non-dairy creamer, the "Frozen Dessert" that gets used in soft serve. We had to break down the machine and let the parts soak in bleach, and flush the hoses with bleach and water every night. The bacteria issue is well known, so much so that dairy-based soft serve was phased out of DQ in the late-80s because it was even more bacteria-laden.

That hairpiece with the cogs is superb! I genuinely hope they sell little trinkets and stuff like that in the gift shop as intricate souvenirs.
