I can envision little kids doing that in the park all day after seeing that. And then going home and doing it constantly. This could turn into a National crisis overnight.....or.....new phraseology. "Don't argue, fart glitter" .....

Remember years ago when someone posted a meme about yelling "Andy's coming" at Toy Story characters. Until this day guests expect them to fall on the ground even though that was never a thing. I'm worried this could be one of those things that guests expect at each meet and greet. Seems like it happens once at the beginning of this characters set.

I'm curious about the inner workings of this effect. Do you think it's released via compressed air, a manual pump, something else?

I'm wondering if the jump has something to do with it, like a foot pump that the actor can activate with a valve inside the costume.
Too, I wonder if is a one-off effect... once per onstage set.
I considered that too, but then I thought that the characters jump around quite a bit so it would have to have a locking feature or it's only done once at the beginning of a set.

That's what I mean with a valve. The air could be used for the effect or diverted away. Just a guess though.
Ah I see what you mean now. I've asked a friend who is in the tech department at Universal so we'll see what they say...
