Add Van Helsing and add in all of these films will be present day and scary per the guys in charge. Based on the amount of addition and franchising they are trying to do, its definitely going to be used at least at HHN.

So, I don't know if there's a Universal Monsters Cinematic Universe thread yet, but this was released today. This seemed like the appropriate place to put it. (If there's a thread already, my apologies. Couldn't seem to find it)

In light of the new film trailer of "The Mummy" being released, Steven Weintraub and other reporter's had a chance to talk to Alex Kurtzman about the monster Universe.

Mummy: Universal's Movie-verse Won't Include Dracula Untold | Collider

In another light, shouldn't this thread be more moved to the Films, Games and more thread as this thread is more about the upcoming films of the UCMU (Universal Classic Monster Universe) as opposed to the parks?

The Mummy, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Wolfman, The Invisible Man, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Van Helsing and The Phantom of the Opera

Also all the original films are canon to the CU

Hope they don't expect people to have seen them already.

Are they? That's pretty awesome! I wonder how it will work with Frankenstein, and Dracula looking totally different?
