I wonder if the more adventurous Epic menus will pose a problem as well. Maybe I just travel with picky eaters but I spent one of the days watching people in my group pick out peppers and mushrooms and scrape off cheese because the mobile app doesn't allow modifications; perhaps that's just a consequence of the hyper-optimization of modern day operations. Obviously not as big of a deal at normal burger/tender/pizza QSR's, but does feel a little strange at the Astropub or at the Oak & Tavern.

I believe customization is coming to Epic mobile order, but for now you can order at counter for special requests.

This is something WDW's mobile order far surpasses UOR's on though. While Minion Cafe lets me at least take the meat off the mac and cheese with a customization option—or swap out a side for some meals—WDW offers entire allergy-friendly menus at bottom of the page that are EXTENSIVE and can swap out tons of ingredients. Or even just being able to say "sauce on the side" as an option for Satuli bowls is incredibly useful, and something I wish Universal did more of with theirs.

There absolutely needs to be the ability to customize mobile orders if they want this system to take off. I've had issues with this in certain situations in Disneyland too. Needs to be standard across the board.

The app does have that ability, just not enabled at a lot of the Epic restaurants yet.

Yeah - as I mentioned earlier, it is available at some locations - mainly Fast Food Boulevard.

Even when it is available, it's rather limited in it's options. Better than no options, but still not enough.

Those that have been in the park? How many days would you think is good? Im looking at 3 days at epic, is that overkill? Considering no express being available for awhile.

Yeah, the options for FFB are mostly "no lettuce/tomato/sauce/etc" - definitely wish there were more options. And wish they were available everywhere!

I haven't been in the park yet, but I've also got 3 days, and keep wondering if it won't be enough! ;)

Note that the 'fully open' experience is likely going to be quite a bit different than what the preview experience has been (in terms of guest flow and wait times and downtime), but two days probably feels like the sweet spot.

So 3 days is perfect for pacing yourself, Sparky! ;) No such thing as overkill when it comes to vacation time!

We've got 2 days - planning for Express for 1 of them (if available)

1 day to guarantee all of the rides (most likely) and take our time exploring
1 day to go back and do things we missed or things we want to do again

With crowds should be good. Even with preview crowds we ended up not being able to do everything (Flyers and Fyre we skipped intentionally and ran out of time for the Potter show and Werewolf coaster. We barely made Mario and Donkey Kart - like goat in MK 1 minute before closing)

As UOR starts to revamp all its restaurants menus at the main campus they will probably roll out some new updates to the app.

That’s what I’m hoping for at least.

Two should be enough to do all attractions, under normal circumstances. Three is good to have a backup in case something isn’t available one day, to be able to take your time exploring, and spend more time with Power-Up Bands or interactive wands. Plus, repeating your fave experiences again, and trying more food!

If only doing 1 day, you’re going to have to pick your battles, and skip some stuff (shows and interactive experiences most likely) to get the greatest hits at least.

You can spend close to half a day in just SNW if you want to do everything with the Power-Up bands and do all the attractions. That's what I did in USJ for one of my days there. Just rope drop the land and do everything in it and it took quite a while, and that's without DK. The EPA will be helpful in completing that land for anyone staying on site.

Three days should be perfect if you have the option. After the first two days you can spend the third hitting your favorites over and over, and maybe squeeze in some little things you weren't initially interested in but now have a bit of extra time for after doing the other things.

This comes particularly handy if you want to spend time enjoying the restaurants.

I'm definitely curious to see how EPA goes. Ideally it would be a great time to knock out Mario Kart and DK, but with everyone in the park in SNW.. I'm not sure how it will go lol
