I just want to scream in terror in the most fun way on my first ride as much as possible.

Going back to this, I believe many have shared this sentiment (and based on what we've heard, hopefully it will go this route): The attraction should be genuinely intense. Take the Dementor scene from Forbidden Journey, make it even grander and with the classic monsters, and even push it a little. Imagine pitch darkness, you hear a snarl or hideous laugh, and BAM suddenly you see a Dracula animatronic swooping towards your vehicle.

Also I'm curious how the beginning of the ride will go. We know from Screamscape it likely begins with the Monster's resurrection, but then things quickly go sour (or possibly according to Victoria's plan?), but how do things go sour? Does the power from the resurrection blow a hole in the wall and we tumble into the caverns/dungeons that hold the Monsters? It's so exciting to think about!

I’m hoping it’s more thematically and visually intense because I don’t know how much more Kuka maneuvers I can take compared to FJ! Hopefully the lack of dome screen segments will help a lot with motion sickness.

Yeah, I hope the intensity will be coming much more from lighting and sound choices (and the close proximity of AAs) than from really souped-up Kuka motion.

But as you allude to, I think the fact that we won't be transitioning into and out of dome simulators and into and out of practical scenes should help ease motion sickness for those who've had an issue with it on Forbidden Journey.

Wasn't the Monsters Unchained rumored to have a coaster element at some point? That could add some intensity.

It won’t have coaster track, it’s just having its track manufactured by a steel company that happens to also make coaster track, which led to rumors. My bad.

Besides, A Kuka Arm on a coaster track sounds great in theory but I imagine the mechanical and downtime headaches of combining those two would be horrendous.

It's almost certainly going to have some intense motions. If not, just use a scoop instead of Kuka.

What if the open hub after six is because Universal wants to make Epic the place to go for fireworks for the resort. Keep Epic open an hour or so later, open the hub to anyone on property, big fireworks show.

Maybe they've listened to reason and realize that it just sounds better with the possessive!

This is behind a paywall, but I'd guess the "Electricity Effects" are for Dark Universe...

I have to wonder if Universal going to up on the trees and landscaping to help provide shade especially if the heat advisories in Florida get worse the next few years

I fully expect we'll see berms being built up soon and trees going in to get them well established before opening. They planted out the berms on Sand Lake next to the warehouses and they've already filled in nicely.
