Also important to bring up that in the interview--Fede has not been officially signed on as of the time of the interview. It is however expected that they will be able to get him to sign onboard to direct the film once again.

I had issues with Romulus, but I do agree that the best part of the film is the dynamic that Cailee and David gave to eachother. Hoping it doesn't get Alien: Covenant'ed in how they progress with the narrative of the two.
