Seeing as we don't have a proper thread for WB's Burbank studios..this is a note to have..

VFX has gotten to the point where they aren't going to need many physical sound stages anymore. We have a lot of insane developments in realtime CG happening fast.

We are prob going to see almost all of universal Hollywood transferred to park space eventually over the physical sets.

I'm going to make a post about it, but I am actually thinking it's going to happen..sooner than we realize.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions so fast. Backlot sets may be falling out of favor when shooting on location (or with CGI) is more popular, but the lots won't be wiped out entirely. Television is the main source of production, these days, and they require ample sets & soundstage space.

I wonder how much of it will be left if they do proceed. I'm glad I got out there and saw it while it was up and running.
