What's going on behind the construction walls next to Waterworld?

New Family center/ shopping center

Expect them to match the architecture style of the Studio Store and Starbucks. They want it to feel a bit more like old Hollywood.

Its called the new Animations Building. It will be a multipurpose building which will only have a Hello Kitty gift shop and Family Center for special needs. Behind the scenes it will have Security offices and a warehouse for backstage storage, etc. Expect the building to be going vertical soon with a Spring 2018 completion.

Waterworld is currently closed for an unexpected refurbishment. Word has it that no date is available for reopening due to upgrades coming to the new control unit which was installed last year. The plan is to have it open as soon as possible, but it has been assumed that this may go through mid-May.
