Thanks too for this closeup of below the rock area Hateto. It shows me that the supports are at the same angle as shown in the SWFWMD's 722 grading plans. I had once wondered if they were original or new proposals.

Maybe it's just the angle that we're getting pictures from, but this is what I think is happening:

They dug out and drained the jut outs so they could demolish them and build a wall in line with the rest of the shore. There are rebar and wall forms at the back of the juts (or so it appears.) I suspect when it's completed that we'll see a wooden deck extend into the lagoon. (all conjecture and speculation)

I think we're looking at at least a year from now. Focus your hopes on Project 609 for now.

Really glad this is now in one thread; with this one, the Amity demo one and the 609 one I was feeling frantic trying to keep up! The pictures look great, it's fantastic imagining what will appear here over the coming months :happy:

To kick off the new direction of this thread:

That doesn't really make sense. The jut outs are the lake walls right now. At the same time they're saying the lake wall will not be disturbed.
That is an oxymoron.

That is taken out of context. IIRC, that had do with water displacement concerns.

But they don't always make sense, and they are error prone. Caught quite a few today. One had me laughing for a few minutes.

Ahh I see. Instead of adding concrete they will be demolishing them to make it look more like then London waterfront. I like
