Earlier today I was walking with brother in law inside a massive home improvement specialty store. Not sure why he is asking me as the project is above my head, but it's family right. What got me though was the massive amount of material needed and the cost involved. He is using loads of aged timber beams and tons of aged and cut stonework for the project. He is really hell bent on an authentic type of feel so cost isn't an issue to him like it used to be.

Appreciate the idea but his last project made him so much he's just gonna pay cash.

You should  But seriously though let's review a "few" of my recent locations. Pandora, Nest 609, Transylvania, Springfield, Gotham, and Cybertron. All of which are great places to visit

Transylvania was partly the classic monsters house that was rushed due to activity in SS23 and the Nest. Gotham is something I'm holding on too.

So uh station effect, smoke wall with projection of brick on it am I right? That makes for the "barrier wall" effect.
Easily the most logical way of doing things and have as many people pass through as possible, and it works with an indoor station so it will be dark enough to see the projection.
I'm thinking a variant of the Pirates of the Carribean projections. Maybe a small slot running along at the bottom functioning as a vacuum manifold so the smoke doesn't disperse across the floor.

Amiright?

I've got a pretty solid idea for the ticketing dilemma too...

You've taken it to far for the effect I was talking about, but I'm curious to hear your ticketing dilemma solution.

Ticketing, woo!

On a real Amtrak train, tickets are scanned literally as you step on. But all trains that I've seen have an on board attendand, and others will handle your ticket once you are on board. Think of "punching your ticket" from old movies where they come around and see to each customer briefly. I think they will have attendents in each car to scan tickets for entry to the other park or mark you as a round trip rider so everyone can ride the train. There's a little spot to place a card above each person on Amtrak marking their destination. The disembarking passengers will get off at their stop, but the other passengers will stay on for the return trip thus being informed of this before they get on. That way the ticketing aspect becomes a part of the show.

Now won't the ticket takers get in the way of a show? I think not because the main show with special effects and such will only happen during the transfer track section. HateToFly has a picture supporting the existence of this transfer track path section right in the middle, I can't seem to find it. Both trains would come to a stop right in the center to engage in some form of show and eventually return along their way. The trains would have to stop for dementors so it is important for the riders to feel the deceleration motion followed by accelerating again to complete the illusion. Assuming there is a stop for dementors, but it sure seems likely.

I'm not sure how ticketing is done in Britain, maybe a Brit can comment on that for us?
