Well holding on to a cell phone is also kind of dangerous since most of their coasters go above pathway. I know whenever I have stuff in my pockets I literally hold them because I'm paranoid that my stuff will fly out.

Same thing with me. Ill wear cargo shorts and button them shut and usually hold on to them. I dont know what I would do if i lost my keys or wallet on one of the rides

How annoying would it be to have to work next to a roller coaster all day, wouldn't the screams eventually get to you?

Depends what you do. If your in an office and can barley hear then might not be much of a problem but if you work out doors may get old. Id be more mad that the coaster was so close and I was stuck at work. :bonk:

Thats why I never bring my wallet or keys into a park.
I have a door key in my pass holder on my lanyard, a keypad door lock put on, spare key in my camera bags, and a hide a key if need be. Also I am going to have my GF sew up some parahute clips on some cargo shorts for my phone to make sure it stays in my pockets.
Side note some wrangler shorts I bought came with a D ring sewn in to the belt loops, cool for keys and IDs.

Its been easier to deal with since we now have the kids, ill just throw my stuff in the stroller or my camera bag and leave it with the wife.

Lost my keys on Cheetah Hunt and it took a week to recover them. Mind you I totally forgot I had my keys on me and on the airtime hill, gone. I was so mad at myself. Even worse it was the only key we had for that vehicle which had a microchip in it. Had to wait on pop a lock and cost me 200 bucks for a key and labor. To make matters worse it wasn't just my car keys that were lost. Had to replace cores on every lock in a building I was working at. Then replace keys for the entire staff due to a microscopic chance my skeleton ended up in the wrong hands.

I kicked my own butt several times on that mistake!

Big time ouch :bonk: I like OF's plan with bringing multiple keys and hiding backups just in case.

I have a chip key that cost $100, but I had 2 $2 plain keys made. I leave my regular key ring wth the chip key in the car and have 1 cheap key in my wallet and one in my camera bag.

No, but I worked at the boardwalk games in front of Jaws back in 1995...and they'd play period music (mid 1970's songs). There was only about 8 songs played in a loop and I got SICK of every one of the songs playing all day long.

Hence I feel bad for those people who work at, say MIB exit where they hear the MIB theme song ALL DAY, EVERY DAY

Reminds me of an old Steven Wright quote: "Last week I drove coast to coast and only had one casssette tape...I can't remember what it was.....

I'm paranoid about stuff coming out of my pockets, even with cargo shorts/pants. Usually leave phone, glasses, etc.. In a locker or with non-rider. Nearly lost my glasses case on Forbidden Journey once. Felt it sliding out and had to reach to hold on to that (and phone) the rest of the ride. Afraid to take anything on that if I go on it again.

I keep thinking you died....then you post about how this is a forum about nothing*.

*For the love of Tebow that's a Seinfeld reference. Please get it, people.

But if you wanna get excited about Phase II. Think of something great, then something better, then something better, and that's almost as good as what's happening.

No need to tell me friend, I'm watching Seinfeld as we speak.

I was more commenting on how with all the new rumors this week I can't tell these threads apart because so much bleeds into each other (including loose objects).

How about this. I believe that the Platform 9 3/4 entrance is going to be a forced perspective brick diagonal hallway. A simple yet effective optical illusion.

I believe that you are correct. Might even use some sort of projection technology. I also believe that everyone will have to go through the "portal" to enter the station. Except maybe ADA.

A practical, yet effective, solution.

I can see a huge issue with not allowing strollers (except as wheelchairs); it greatly diminishes the willingness of a family with kids wanting to then spend time in IOA, specifically one park ticket holders would be far less likely to upgrade to a 2-park ticket under that scenario. People are paranoid as it is and take off stroller wheels for a 3 minute ride plus wait time to try and keep their stroller from getting stolen, so they certainly won't want to leave their stroller in one park while they're over doing stuff in another park. Seems like something that could come back to bite them in terms of wanting the experience to push 2 park ticket upgrades in a key demographic. Of course, there are also days where I'm sure they won't mind the disincentive that will be (like peak seasons).

Agreed. That's not going to work, IMO.
