That would be a fun repaint! Yellow could represent Hufflepuff, but I have no idea what grey could resemble in the HP universe.

What the non potter fans would think  just kidding... But they would probably stay with the dragon idea instead of the houses either way

I think the red should stay but maybe green? For the Welsh Green dragon? I like the idea that the dragons are bright and stand out against all of the grey rock.

The Dragos are THe Chinese Firebolt and The Hungarian Horntail. The Chinese Firebolt can stay red. But The Hungarian Horntail needs to be this color:

Honestly, I'll take any color for the Horntail rather than what we have now. Keeping it blue just seems a little lazy to me.

^ I think so too, but I wouldn't mind if they changed the 'skins' as well.

Seeing both coasters in the same frame just makes me miss the dueling aspect of the coasters. :'(

Same here. The ride ran fine for over 10 years. And because of 2 stupid people the ride will never be the same again.

Am I the only one who's ok with the current colors? I personally feel the pop of color makes the coaster stand out. Side bar...are the entire tracks suppose to be the dragon?

New thought! I would settle for the both tracks and supports painted the sake color and the trains the colorful dragons...but what color track/supports? Gray, dark green, brown, green track brown supports?

I would be OK if they painted both tracks and supports dark charcoal gray.

I was thinking black, but dark grey would also be nice. Then the dragons' colors would really pop against the tracks.

i think it would be neat to have like statues of the dragons from the movie under the coasters but then again hogwarts is probably taking most of that space up under it.

I never got to ride them dueling, the guy losing his eye happened 2 days before my first trip to IOA. Did Uni ever get to the bottom what exactly happened?

I did hear once that a B&M coaster has a minimum shelf life of 25 years, can't for the life of me remember where I got this info from, can any one confirm. If true they will be there for a long time yet.

Someday? yes, but just looking at their track record says not for a long time. Looking at B&M coasters the only ones not running or gone are from parks that went under. Source RCDB http://rcdb.com/r.htm?ot=2&co=6831&page=1

The quality and standards that B&M build to mean their rides are pretty much the most durable coasters on the market, and least prone to mechanical or wear & tear problems. For example, Intamin rides tend to go through multiple component replacements such as launch cables at a surprising rate. With proper maintenance (eg tyre replacement) B&Ms just keep going without any loss in ride quality. Hence the above stat posted by DrAwesome. Yay for B&M

I doubt Universal would remove it voluntarily though, even given the circumstances it now operates in.

Look at Kumba for example, B&M's first sit down looping coaster and opened in 1993 and still runs pretty decent for being a 20 year old ride

Back on 2.0, I still can't get over how small the site looks in front of the Gringotts building, considering how much is going to be going up there. It's difficult to imagine in my mind's eye. Looking forward to seeing it go up.
