Yes, it's in Borgin and Burke's, but that's in Knockturn Alley, and I doubt we'd want to start our adventure... there. Oh, yes, there is, I thought you meant something else, though. Although we would have to be transported in mass amounts of people through the floo network. On FJ, we're on a vehicle of four, which is easily transportable.

Again, we are not actually in England/The Wizarding World, we are in a land that was brought forth through the magic of the lighthouse.

If they expand WWoHP there they will take out all of Lost Continent. Poseidon could very easily be turned into basilisk lair,Sindbad could be turn into a HP themed show
the fountain could have a HP spiel ,

That could be the reason they have left the "temp bridge" still up .If they close all the area above temp bridge to Hogsmead entrance to retheme it to WWoHP they need the temp bridge to bypass that area.

^Well, I personally think those ideas wouldn't work with many claims of evidence, so I'll shut up, but I do think that this expansion will happen gradually. I don't know why, but it seems like it will...

And BriMan, yes, that makes sense. Now what one could ask is how the transition will look from the village to the alleyway... That'll be quite the challenge.

So the plan calls for the removal of the temporary bridge? If so, that's great to hear.

No. They do not call for that. At least not what we've seen so far.

Depending on the layout of WWoHP2, I could see the temporary bridge replaced with a permanent one for easier navigation around IoA for people wanting to bypass Potter

And hopefully one that looks better than the current one, which looks like an amalgamation of cheap wood.

Its a theme park use your imagination. Do you go to Epcot and complain about being able to go to Mexico and then walk right into Norway and then right into China, and then to a outpost, and then to Germany, and then Italy, and then Murka, and then and then and then!!!!!

Hold on I'm not done. Other examples of a theme park being, a THEME PARK.

Animal Kingdom-Hey is that Africa? No its Dinoland dude everyone knows you can't walk straight from East Asia into Central Africa man.....wait?
MK-Tomorrowland and Fantasyland connected by gas powered go karts and tea cups. Shouldn't they be connected by a worm hole or something.
Busch Gardens-Morocco and Nairobi are more than a bakery apart in real life.
SeaWorld-The Grand Lost City of Atlantis next to Penguins?
DHS-If there is a Spaceport in the vicinity why are we taking a limo across town in rush hour? Maybe we should just stay the night at that big hotel.
USF-Twisters in NY and since when did ET,Barney,Fievel,Woody, and Curious George all live in the same cartoon?

Give a few and I will think of couple more Frontierland and a Caribbean boat ride.....A hanglider in California connected to a food court in Orlando Fl.....

Hatetofly, I can assure you that I'm aware that we have to suspend belief and use imagination! I'm not going to block out the idea from my mind because it's not convenient. What I am saying, and this is all that I'm saying, is that unlike most Orlando theme parks, Islands of Adventure and Harry Potter have their own canon properties. When you have a back story to a theme park, then you use it in your mind as you walk around from place to place, I get that, I really do.

What I am simply stating is that Harry Potter's world of magic created by Jo Rowling does not have Hogsmeade physically next to Diagon Alley (by hundreds of miles) which creates a large doubt in my mind that that will be the expansion. I am not overruling it, I am just stating that it is unlikely that it would work canonically, and therefore would be rejected by Jo.

Now, BriMan and others have provided sound evidence from the series that it is, in fact, possible. Just as we walk from Arabia to Scotland through an arch, we are being tricked by the power of the lighthouse, now brightly illuminated after the 'incident', and just as easily we can walk to Diagon Alley. It was just not making sense to me enough as a Potter fan and nothing else lol.

It's been laid to rest. Now let's just keep discussing ideas which is what ^that^ was.

Off that topic, but I've been scouring project and records and everything sites, but I just can't find how @EPCOTNRG was able to find this as well as the Hollywood Drive-In Golf plans... I'm so lost. I've tried to root the website provided (http://my.sfwmd.gov/cmsdk/content/i...lansEngineering/071001-29_AllPlans_206248.PDF) but to no avail...

Okay, so I hate to be "That Guy", but I haven't been on the site all day, so I just want to make sure I have everything that happened straight. So basically, someone found plans with LC marked as "Future Expansion Land", everyone freaked out, and the thread expanded by about 5 pages, right?

:rep: Best summary ever. It's basically the same information we already had, as far as I can tell.

Um, no, not really, we have acquired blueprints to the land!

Said the overly excited soon-to-be-architect.

Indeed we have... however, as far as I can tell, said blueprints tell us absolutely nothing about this expansion, aside from the fact that Universal planned for the possibility pretty much since they announced WWoHP. Granted, I have very little know-how when it comes to reading blueprints, so feel free to correct me if I missed something.

Okay, good to know that's what happenned! Out of curiosity, do the blueprints show Phase 2 taking over all of LC, or just the Arabian half?

From what we can see (and again, I'm no expert on reading blueprints), the expansion appears to extend almost all the way down to Mythos.
