I started looking.. The only thing I could really find that was interesting were several listings with AECOM in it. One was 17 pages. AECOM are the ones who designed the architecture for Marvel Super Hero Island.

Hmm. Seem to specialize in hydraulic design, aerodynamics, and custom design.

It appears they are going to connect the area out doors after going through the dungeon queue around the castle to area in front of the castle near the gates. It is unclear what purpose it would serve. Good find.

Yea...I have NO idea what a path like this would serve. Very odd, IMO.

Is there any chance this could be aimed at alleviating the congestion caused by people waiting for lockers? They have the bag and no-bag lines separated by a rope now, but maybe they're looking to come up with a more permanent solution by re-routing some of the queue. Or not. Just my 2 cents.

The plans call for it to be fairly big and use heavily themed pathways though. And from that I can only imagine it will be for guest use.

That's what I thought as well. But it seems to come in at a part of the line where there would be people already waiting. IDK.

OK, another guess would be an easier way to clear the queue when FJ goes 101. That way not everyone has to backtrack all the way through the queue.

Yea but the ride barely goes down anymore as it is, to make a highly themed pathway next to the rocks to me would be pointless, not to mention walking in and seeing the mirror and dungeons is interesting as well. Who knows what this is for.

Oh my GOD this is really exciting for me because I've always wanted to get a good shot from where this path is said to be PLUS you can see some of the blueprints.

This was close to a death, you guys; very close.

EDIT: You can also see FJ's building number! (245)
