I agree with everyone on the Dragon challenge queue. The first two rooms are okay (Champions tent and Triwizard cup) but the rest is way lack luster. One of the things I thought about last time I rode was the golden eggs. I think somewhere where each of tracks goes there should be one. Like with the Hungarian Horntail you could put the golden egg on top of the castle. Put them somewhere so the attraction makes sense to the book/movie. I mean just sitting in a display case in the queue and at the entrance isn't really enough...

That is not a bad idea. Sort of a quick almost hidden thing even. Something for the people who care to look for. Makes it have a little detailed element.

I would just say add to the queue. DC's queue is a major downgrade to what DD's was. Floating Candle Room makes no sense at all.

Oh, and paint the track.

I am opposed to painting the track. I love the blue and red tracks, it's become an icon of WWoHP in my opinion.
Seeing the inverting blue and red tracks above the entrance looks perfect, and even though they aren't the right colors I feel like WWoHP would have lost a staple.

The only sad feeling I'd have if the track were repainted is that I'd finally have to stop calling it Dueling Dragons.

I think Universal still wanted the ride to feel like 'dueling dragonsy' for the Universal vets while fitting it into the Potter universe (name change, queue change) for the new people...I do like the projection of the dragon before you enter the ride, I'm happy they did something with that up there.

I think the colors, while nostalgic, need to go. The Wizarding World is a very Earth-toned Island and Dragon Challenge's tracks just look gaudy and out of place within it. I don't personally care if they don't repaint them but I admit it would look a lot better and more befitting of the surrounding area.

This is somewhat a dull subject hmm? While color is subjective, as a professional artist, I would consider the DD tracks to be of muted and not loud color; reddish/blueish. Modified and muted versions of each color. Inconsequential in the big picture.

I am too busy to search county permit records right now. It can take a few hours. If anyone has the time, please search those records and look for a certain new "project" name that I cannot state here. And keep in mind, it is no longer 'strongarm'.

Why don't you talk to the person who started the subject then? Regardless, what is dull and what isn't is subjective be you a 'professional artist' or not. I personally think the color contrast between DC and the rest of WWoHP is an eyesore. You disagree. Glad we got that out of the way.

Because this is a public forum for discussion on which many have an opinion. That is the point of a forum.

If it's a "dull subject" then isn't it more befitting to attack the creator of it rather than a member who had only just commented about it? I don't like being called out as if the subject were proposed by me. Why not go to the source instead of throwing up your thoughts over whether or not a subject is dull on a member who was only commenting on a preexisting observation? And no need to be a smart alec. I know what the point of a forum is.

I'll gladly take credit for bringing it up! I've been complaining about the track colors ever since I found out they weren't painting them lol.

But yeah. I'm tired of talking about it, too. So. Um. I'll just leave this here then. . . .

I think Teebin's comment on the paint was taken out of context; let's just move on.

Teebin, I continue in my search through the comptroller with no avail. How should I search it again?

He probably can't comment any further but read his post again and again. Maybe a clue is directly in front of you.

You seem to be focusing on time/being busy.

Something to do with a Time Turner perhaps?

Get on it people!

This is the only thing that stood out to me. Something dealing with time.

Also, the rumors are that the ride will be Gringotts Bank. And as the old saying goes, "TIME equals MONEY."

You have to search for "Universal City Partners" or something like that. Every time I go on there I forget what it is. Anyone know what the exact corporate name again?

Time turner would be too obvious I think. Hourglass, perhaps?

What's the site to search on? Because I have nothing but time on my hands right now.
