Seems like quite a few of us were there today!

BTW, Jake, I think I saw you in Sting Alley tonight, taking pictures right before the Mardi Gras parade! I almost called out to you, but I wasn't 100% sure  After seeing your pics here, I am thinking it definitely was! Did you see me?

Ok, here's Part 1 of my Potter Pics from today... Hogsmeade Station:

Also, I gotta say, once this station is complete, Dragons will be quite a different experience. Even right now, with the station being bare steel bones, there's many "near collisions" with the station from both coasters. It's pretty neat, sort of like the castle wall on Horntail / Ice.

Awesome pics to all who took some!

My thoughts are placed on the Sinbad building being an utterly obtrusive in some of those pictures...how will they hide it? or will they just re-theme it?

I'm thinking re-theming that side, since it would only be visible from this new area, which will belong to the WWoHP.

He merely wanted a picture of Hogwarts castle from a new angle. Sure, there was a wall in the way, but he got the picture!

Since HTF said that some of these buildings will be 5-7 stories high, Will all of that extra space be open to the public?? like those front buildings....it looks like they have a 2nd and 3rd floor. will there be stores or something on those???

Remember that these buildings up front also have the purpose of hiding Diagon Alley behind it, so that's why they're so tall. If they do have other usable floors, I don't think they will be accessible to guests; they'd probably be for staff only. If they have other floors available they have to comply with ADA regulations and have ramps or elevators that allow guests with disabilities to access these, so as to not exclude / discriminate them.

Felipe there are also buildings behind the london facades of 50-65 ft in height. No two story buildings for "guests" though.

 Standing from the vicinity, they hopefully should be well hidden. Obviously, there'll be some parts that will be seen from the higher levels of Simpsons' queue and exit, AA, and FFL... but for the majority of the park, DA should be pretty well hidden, right?

I am still a bit confused by, and don't know what to make of, the right side. You know, to the right of the Grimmauld Place facade... :inquisitive:

To be fair standing up in the Simpsons queue ruins many aspects of theming. But everywhere from ground level will be just fine.

Maybe they'll finally enclose those ramps and add some air conditioning because when the sun is out those ramps are torture.

Are u talking about the Simpsons ride?! Everytime Ive gone, on both Sat AND Sunday, its almost always a 10 min wait, every once in a while 15, & most times I wind up going to the bottom floor with plenty of shade from the upper levels. & everytime Ive gone to the upper levels, it always seems to be shaded well too just from the sheer size of the building, & this is a guy who hates waiting in general, or wont wait in any line for any ride if I have to spend more than 10 minutes in an outdoor queu. In fact, I only dislike going to the 2nd or 3rd floor during the winter when its cold.

Oh, so the truth finally comes out:lol:

But for real, that sucks cause its a pretty good BIG ride. Is it just Simpsons, or do all the simulators make you feel uneasy?

Simpsons is the only ride at UOR that makes me sick. It doesn't help when you get the top left simulator in the theater and end up having to set in the back right seat. I could only see about two thirds of the screen.

Has anyone head anything new about FFL? I really hope it gets replaced before London opens. It's just embarrassing IMO.
