Maybe they'll finally enclose those ramps and add some air conditioning because when the sun is out those ramps are torture.

When I went in January it was about 90 degrees and was forced to wait about 45 mins plus going to the upper queue. I would love to see some A/C or At least fans on the ramps.

Oh, so the truth finally comes out:lol:

But for real, that sucks cause its a pretty good BIG ride. Is it just Simpsons, or do all the simulators make you feel uneasy?

Rides like the Simpsons, Star Tours, and Wild Artic all make me queazy. Seems the older I get, the less I can handle some of the older gen 1 simulators. There have also been times where I got off the FJ and even Transformers a little woozy.

Simpsons is the only ride at UOR that makes me sick. It doesn't help when you get the top left simulator in the theater and end up having to set in the back right seat. I could only see about two thirds of the screen.

Has anyone head anything new about FFL? I really hope it gets replaced before London opens. It's just embarrassing IMO.

FFL is nearing the end, expect something there in 2015 IMO.

With all of the steel infrastructure coming up around it, the Gringott's show building itself has been kind of out-of-sight, out-of-mind lately. Any word on what's happening inside? Is the track being laid? Is it completed?

Why o why o why is Gringotts being built of solid cast concrete instead of a steel frame? It doesn't make sense to me at all...

Maybe they want to stick to the themeing of the ride. Just in case the lights come on and you see your surroundings. Steel frame would just give it away that its a ride. The concrete probably lookes better for this. Those are my thoughts...:blank:

Wait, I'm confused..Isn't the Gringott's building crooked? In the photos the facade seems to be straight........

Sound dampening? Structural loads that will be mostly in compression?

Well for structural support it needs to be straight but I'm guessing when they put the real facade up it will be crooked. Just my thought, I have faith in creative that they will get it to look "true"

Maybe to help keep the noise of the coaster from reaching DA?
