I think most of us that have already been to Hogsmeade have seen what the engines look like :look:

You're certainly right about that. What the locomotives look like will be no surprise. I also agree with Teebin that the interior of the passenger car cabins and associated effects are the biggest part of the HE attraction. But for me, just the sight of the assembled train at the Kings Cross platform will be a rush. They probably won't allow it, but I'd hang back until the next train just to watch one train depart before riding it, especially if there won't be any other location where you can see it in action.

They are in scale with the rest of the train. I know it's a stretch but Google pics of the Hogwarts Express Lego set and you'll see how close the Lego model is to what is being assembled. The similarities are striking. and impressive.

If "behind the walls" or "backstage" area pics can't be seen here, this thread is going to slow once these London facades are done with.

Actually, behind the wall pics are allowed here as long as no laws or Universal Property rules are broken. Those pics of the trains were either taken by an employee and is in violation of his employment contract, or by someone being where they are not supposed to be which is "trespassing".

On the other hand there are no laws or rules being broken if someone were to post 1000 shots taken with a 500mm lens from a "tourist" helicopter. Just sayin'.

Also I believe it's Attractions Magazine that has the glasses with the camera in them. They can get shots of the trains without breaking any rules as well by riding Rockit!

^ Yeah, I am surprised that no members of this site have purchased a pair of those. They are pretty cheap.

^ Now that is interesting. I had wondered if they would theme both sides equally. Apparently not.

No need when it is only seen from one side by guests on the loading platform. You called it.

Goodness, y'all are paranoid. I've seen those pics all over the place. It's kind of sad that a theme park forum is the one place I don't see it. (-__-')

It is a call for any theme park website to make. The owners of this website like news-feeds from each of the big parks yet is a smaller less populated website. Other websites "take" the news feeds much to the parks delight, and then slap the parks in the face with illicit backstage photos. These other websites have huge numbers of people (hits) so the parks just look the other way.

I personally could care less about the park's press releases, and never read the main page of this site, but it is the way it is, and not my call.

That begs the question of will it be a crackdown by Universal PR knocking a number of sites off their list?

Which? Allowing backstage photos to be posted or the new feeds?
