Magic Kingdom opened with 6 lands and about the same number of attractions on opening
No I am not lamenting the amount of rides. Just that one of the four lands is being taken up by something we already largely have.

Chatted with a few folks who aren't following the Epic news -- but they had questions when they saw the headlines about a new Wizarding World. Many still don't realize Diagon Alley exists (or that it's in a separate park). Some were concerned this meant they were getting rid of the original Wizarding World build. Upon explaining the breakdown, a frequent reaction I got was "when did we see Wizarding World Paris...?" followed by "I thought the Ministry of Magic was in London?"

At the end of the day, if the area looks great (and by all accounts it will), this won't necessarily matter... but good to remind ourselves of how the general public sees and reacts to this news, at least anecdotally.
Thankfully the portal is marked with a huge wand. That works as Disney popcorn buckets to scalpers.
Although I won't be surprised some guest will wonder where Ratatouille resides and when they think they enter that attraction they will have an amazing ride or a trauma to look back on.

Queue seems basically the same as Hogwarts except we’re at the Ministry. That works, I do wish we had 1 pre show though. I guess the story is rather simple, but if it’s a 4 minute ish ride I worry it may be total chaos from beginning to end.

Granted, most Universal rides are that to a degree I just want a tad more influence on the story aspect of the ride. Regardless it’s still hard to imagine just how massive this ride will be.

Yeah, I had the same thought — it lacks the pizazz that the Gringotts queue brought and feels like Ugly Forbidden Journey to me. The office looks cute, I’ll give em that.

Well, we are getting a tour of government workers’ offices, magical or not. ;) At least we aren’t being led through a cubicle farm of grays and tans. And I’ll bet there will be some wow moments in the queue that they don’t want to spoil.

Yea, the atrium. The largest queue set they’ve ever built.

I actually think all queue areas have been shown now except connecting hallways.
So is it confirmed the gigantic statue will be present, IRL, or is this part of the LED screens? They only show us in the room before with the weather ceilings, so it’s hard me slightly nervous.

The wizard statue is real. Some offices behind it are real, but forced perspective style they get smaller as they go. And then one arched area that makes it look like there’s more going on forever is a giant LED screen, which is how they’re doing the flying paper airplane memos behind the wizard statue.

But yes, he’s real. And he’s absolutely massive.

I love it. Sounds like a perfect way to give it a Cinematic effect to it all.
