Today at the 11am drop I kept clicking that time selection despite it saying no longer available for several minutes and it actually successfully gave it to me. Like 3 mins of not taking “no more left” for an answer, and it paid off.

That no more left pop up is definitely also the same as the former server error message pop up that showed up constantly the first day they did Virtual Line during TM previews… just in disguise now as a no more left error.

Hopefully the ride gets reliable soon and they drop this nonsense.

I’d love to know if the capacity / reliability of the attraction is currently improving or stuck at a certain level. If the VQ situation is this bad during very low capacity previews I hate to think what it will be like on opening day and beyond if things don’t improve.

It’s also insane to me that they will let a single account get multiple VQ slots per day. Surely they could limit it to one per guest account per day to give more people a chance to ride.

You should select the correct number of people in your party. I imagine it “does not matter” because the people checking at the attraction will let your whole party in regardless (since it’s an imperfect system).

IDK, I saw a party right in front of me get turned away because their party didn't match the reservation. Could be TM dependent?

If there's more guests in a party trying to redeem the VQ than what's previously listed/reserved, they'll turn you around. But I doubt they turn back a party that is smaller than what was initially reserved.

We are less than a month from opening, I’m glad I’m not planning on going in 2025 honestly. I don’t see this being a “quick” fix.

I have two people, but booked it for three, since I was refreshing the page by upping and lowering my party size. We ended up befriending someone who was there by themselves, and making their day but inviting them to ride with us.

They didn't check on anything other than the party size. So if you book more people than your actual size, just find some friends.

Yesterday I got a slot for two in the 11AM drop despite solo slots not being available - no turning away for having a slightly larger party size.

Also, when I went at 3:15 yesterday, the ride was a complete walk on. It was running much better than Monday until the last hour from what I could tell.

I went Wednesday (when MoM was closed until ~4:30pm), and had zero luck in the first two drops while exiting/reentering the attraction page to refresh. My VQ button seemed to turn blue later than everyone else's around me so when I got in, no times would show up at all. Like there was nothing for me to click at all.

For the third drop, I never left/refreshed the attraction page, and just spam tapped the greyed out VL circle nonstop until it turned blue on its own and immediately got a queue spot. So thanks to a redditor for suggesting that method!

My thoughts on the ride itself are...harsher than others'

I believe the working theory is that something about shifting your weight when you cross your legs is tripping the extremely sensitive sensors in the backs of the seats.

Interesting - so there’s no need to go in and out of the attraction info page?

It's a really bad system when you need to figure out all kind of tech tricks to get it to work for you. VQ sucks for the average tourist.

Correct, that's what worked for me. my bubble turned blue on its own without needing to 'refresh' the page. And it was the only time I even got close (and succeeded) at getting a VQ.

Sucks for the average tourist but especially for diehard HP fans like my friends who have this attraction as their #1 must-do. I know they shouldn't even be visiting right now while there's no guarantees but they can't be kept away.

Tomorrow will be their 2nd day of visiting and trying for VQ. I'll be joining and helping so wish us luck!

ASTONISHINGLY awful day for Ministry - it did not open until 6PM despite an attempt at a 3PM opening. They were still running the ride well into the 10PM hour from what I could see at least (and when I went on at 6ish it was only a 20-30 min wait).

Have they been opening up the queue to standby right before close at all still? I remember they were at the beginning of previews.
