That was way too much over the top. I prefer the USF Blues Brothers show, by far.

Over the top is USJ's specialty. Fits in perfectly at that park IMO!

Yeah, I knew that. It's a good example of how different cultures have different experience expectations/enjoyment/interest. And....that's why stuff that works in the Japan parks doesn't always translate over to the US parks, and vice versa.

That’s why I always shake my head at people wanting stuff from this park in the states.

What works there doesn’t always necessarily translate well over in America because of our different cultures.

We like stuff a certain way and the Japanese have things that cater to their population.

Yes, just like merch. Hello Kitty, great in Japan, so so in Orlando....a tad better than Orlando in Ca. with its larger Asian population. I forget the name, Duffy perhaps, but Disney had a similar situation with a merch IP stuffed character that sold great in Japan, but was insignificant sales in the Orlando parks.....Different strokes for different folks....most especially when its different cultures.
