I feel robbed of the "london" experience :'( ! But then I just had an "ahhh" moment. Pratically the entire park (nyc, hollywood, sanfran) is facades and store fronts. Guess I gotta go to EPCOT to get that "london experience"...whatever that is  ??

But unlike Epcot, this will have attractions.

I can see it now...

(Officers come around the corner)

Security: "He's drinking beer. There's no way he's the one taking sketchy pictures!"

(Officers run away continuing their search)

I don't really get what you were expecting. There will be London facades, food, atmosphere in the area, it will just be themed to Potter.

The largest concern should be whether the London facades completely obscure the Diagon Alley facades. Presumably Universal would have established significantly larger facades on the exterior locations in London, but without some specifications on the rides/buildings/attractions in phase II, we may be looking over the rooftops of muggle London into the drastically larger store fronts of Diagon Alley. Hopefully, they can execute "muggle London" and "wizard London" as two separate and iconic locations.

I was expecting, I guess, two expansions in one...in a sense. I was expecting a "london" expansions, free of all things potter. Then walk into the diagon alley section and see the world of potter. Like, if I had a park map it would show a "London" section and a "Diagon alley" section. That brings up another thought of mines...what will they call this expansion?? They already have a Wizardry world of harry potter section I wonder if this would be called flat out london or something else??

Universal has filed a Notice of Commencement with Mosley Inc to install mechanical equipment. Mosley is the company that installed Rip, Ride, Rockit as well as a multitude of coasters over the world.

I'm still convinced they'll go the route of calling it "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" and then write either "London" or "Hogsmeade" in the respective locations of each. Something like this:

That would be great and agree it is what I am hoping for. The rest of the surrounding area before everything goes Wizarding World would fit in with the style that Universal features in most of its other areas. The idea that it could(and legally could as well) be rented out and used as backdrops for film production.

Also, just saying in a dream world it could be a great oppertunity and finally a thematic fit if they bought the rights to Bond for a Stunt Show to go into the stadium theater.

Would be yet another attraction and give the London area even more grounds in the Studios rather than just Potter. Bank time.
