The ride had elements that reminded me of the queue for Forbidden Journey. This is how incredible a Hogwarts ride-thru could have been.
Agreed, I think I would have preferred something like this.

I have minor nitpicks and issues (as I do with anything) but it's very very very impressive and good. Great use of projection technology to accent and complement physical set pieces and AAs.
What's your nitpicks just curious is all
That's honestly why I was never crazy about Star Tours as a kid, especially after riding the amazing Back To The Future. That screen is too damn small, even in the new version! Still fun, but could be better. Queue is fantastic though. I like the new Star Tours ride, especially its randomizer, and I'm sure this Iron Man ride will be an almost exact experience.Iron Man aside, I'm really not a fan of Star Tours. I understand the popularity of the franchise, but it seems like the worst kind of simulator, in that you're stuck in a small vehicle facing towards a rather small screen.
Having said that, it's good seeing Hong Kong get this. If anything, they need to draw more and more attention towards their efforts. I would love to check this out, but the park's debut really left a bad taste in my mouth (as I'm sure many other locals).
